I have three cats... Jabba, normal everyday DSH, he is grey with tiger stripes.. Tippy, she is a domestic long haired cat, she is black with a few white strands of hair in the tip of her tail... And then there is Solo, he is a DSH, and he is white with an orange back and ears and tail...Jabba is 5 and he loves to sleep on his back, like a dog, so cute and he sleeps with my husband and I at night. He will lay between us, in my arm, head onmy pillow and under the covers, loves to sleep under the covers. Tippy is 2 and she is a dainty young lady, she however, doesn't really do anything cute, she likes to lay in lay her the kitty toy box and sleep there. And then Solo, he is a little over a year old and he love the bathroom and the toilet. He will follow you into the bathroom, watch you use the toilet and try to peek in and then watch you flush it and stand up to the toilet and watch the water. And he loves to sleep in the bathroom.. They are my babies and I love them all..

Not sure of the breeds. None of mine are 100% just one breed. Right now we have 7 cats, all indoors. 2 of which we are helping get well and hopefully find homes for and the others are just ours. Most of my cats are strays. One is a Siamese mix of some sort who was so skinny at first that he almost died but now he's a heft 15 lbs at least. Bandit, my longhaired black one, is my baby! We tricked him to come inside when he was 8 wks old about (a stray). He's been my buddy ever since. We have our own special language between us. He likes to stand & stretch on the front of me while I'm standing and then I have to lean down so he can grip my shoulders and then I pick him up and he starts his motor!
I love kitties!!!!!!!

I have abyssinians, they are clever and very playful. They look like little wild cats with beautiful colouring and wild cat markings. I love that the boy growls when he eats a raw chicken wing. He is so gentle and loving. She on the other hand is very sweet and is very active. She gets upto the craziest thing. Always up to something but never naughty. Loving and independent is a great combination. When I saw the beauty of an aby there really was no turning back :-)

Calico. His name is Radar. One day, we were driving down the street when this cute little kitten came out of nowhere. We stopped and went to the neighboring houses, and a woman cried, "That's my cat!" Until we told her that it was about to get hit by a car, she seemed angry. However, soon, she was checking to make sure all of the other kittens were there. Luckily, they were. She put a gate around and we got to keep the kitten.
Radar is special because he always knows when you're not in a good mood, or you're having a bad day. He snuggles up close and makes sure to work his cute little vocal cords until you're up, petting him, and soon, smiling, laughing, and playing with him. Radar loves to play "Cat And Mouse", where he becomes a mouse as we chase him, or he chases us and jumps right on top of us when he finds us. We also like "Hide And Seek" with numorous people, and he always seems to know if he's supposed to be finding or hiding. I love him so much, and he loves us, too, because we saved his life. =]

I've got a Ragdoll blue mitted boy. He's very affectionate - loves being with me, and loves my friends. He's the smoochiest cat I've ever known. It's funny when I pick him up and he goes all limp, just like they're supposed to. They're good for keeping as indoor cats too because they aren't as active as many other breeds, so don't mind spending the time indoors, although he loves a run around the back garden (fully enclosed) when I get home from work.

A cat is a cat..
I would not buy a certain breed of cat, when there are so many beautiful ones that can be adopted.
I have 3 adult male cats, all black, all neutered and declawed.
I cannot pinpoint any one thing that makes them special, they just are. Cats make me happy, the love and humor they bring into our lives is priceless.

We rescued 3 kittens at my place of work.
The 1st one to show up was an orange female-yes, female!-she ran into the store and it took us 6 hrs to catch her and put her outside with some food. She ran off into the underbrush instead of eating.
Then, 2 days later, she brought her 2 brothers with her.
They are special to us because they were so near to death when we got them and now,3 weeks later, they are happy and playful, healthy and normal little 10 week old kittens!

We have a 6 month old seal-point Siamese that a neighbor gave us.
She's an indoor only cat (supposed to be but she's become an escape artist) altho my 4 year old keeps wanting to take her outside.
Like most siamese's she has an extensive vocabulary. When she feels like it she plops herself down on my keyboard and chats up a storm with me. She also loves to hang over my shoulder as I wander around doing my housework.
She's a gorgeous kitty and rarely scratches anyone. Not even my 4 year old who has pounced on her and squeezes her to make her meow. (she's slowly learning to be gentle with kitty)
Anyway my neighbor had found her outside and almost ran her over when she was not even 3 months old so I guess you could say that I rescued her.
She also LOVES to go on play dates to my sister's house (she has 2 kittens, they all get along well).

We have a mix calico female. She is very sweet and loving.
She just likes to hang out with us...We adopted her from SPCA when was 10 month old nursing mother with a litter of 3 kittens and we had to wait few weeks before we could adopt her. Right after adoption it was very difficult time for me because my youngest one wanted to play rough with her and she would scratch him (small scratches) when she has had enough. Slowly my son is learning to be gentle with her and she is also adjusting to him too.
She is a special kitty because she never runs away from our children no matter how noisy they get. I really think she always want to give them a chance to learn how treat animals with love and respect. Plus she gives us something to do for us as a family like playing with her or just sitting around and watching her do silly things.
I feed her every morning with canned food but she never wakes me up. She just patiently waits till I am up.
She kisses me and purrs whenever I pet her.
She brought so much fun and laughter into our home ever since she came to our homw! We just love her to pieces.

I have a tortoiseshell DSH (domestic short hair) and we also have a domestic long hair who is all black.
What is special about my tortie? Her tude, the fact that only females are torties, and over the past 6 years we have developed quite the bond. (I got her when she was 8.) She is picky about attention but can sense when I need her. That's what I love most about her.
