first question is how old was your cat when she was spayed?

if your cat was spayed under the age of 4-6 months there is a huge possibility she's in heat and there is small amount of uterus or ovary material leftover from the surgery causing the production of hormones to simulate a heat cycle. However, the cat cannot get pregnant because the uterus and ovaries were removed. Common treatment for this problem is to have an exploratory surgery to remove leftover pieces. Which is not 100% guarantee and very costly.

My cat has the same problem we adopted her at 2 months (so by law she was spayed) and at 6 months started showing signs of going into heat are:
Here's How:

your female cat may become unusually affection, and rub her hind quarters against furniture, other cats, and/or her favorite human.

The Queen will vocalize loudly. This "calling" may go on for several days, unless she mates.

She will assume a mating position: head down, forelegs bent, rear quarters raised to expose the perineum ( this raised posture is called lordosis), with the tail raised and held to the side of the body. Her rear legs will tread rhythmically, as if walking in place.

The tail may quiver, and she may perfom the rhythmic treading described in step four.

If your female cat does not mate, she will go into oestrus as often as every two to three weeks, for several months each year, until she either mates or is spayed.

....I took my cat to the Vet and the only option was either an exploratory surgery which was advised might not even fix the problem because the piece of ovarian tissue is so minuet (cant be seen in X-rays) I decided to not risk surgery and to accept her for her ways.

I've heard that if an ovary or even some of the tissue from the ovary is left in they can still go into heat. This could happen I guess. Cats in heat act like they are in pain or crazy. Its so bad many people will rush the cat to the vet thinking it is about to die. (The vets find this funny). They walk around pacing a lot and yowl, yowl, yowl. It starts out mild and escalates to very severe and you think it will never end. It goes on night and day. If you pet the cat on the back during heat, they will crouch down and act very friendly towards you. They may act like they want to get out to other cats.

You don't say how long ago she was spayed, so she may still have some of those hormones "tricking" her system. Also, sometimes, if only a TINY piece of tissue is left, from the ovary, the cat will exhibit the "heat" symptoms... If she were really in heat, she'd be groveling on the floor, moaning/crying, and want you to rub her backside, near her tail. She'd be acting really loving, and be VERY vocal! Hope this answers your questions.....Good luck.

Once the cat is spayed, the female won't experience any problems. They will be more lovable pets. When they are in heat, they meow alot but very different sounding kinda of like chirping meow. The kitty is more affectionate, rolling there bodies around on the floor and there bum is up in the air.

They can't go into heat if spayed correctly. Spaying removes the entire uterus, and all of the sex drives that goes with it. Although very rare, if the vet left part of the ovary/uterus in her, she could go into heat.

If she is in heat, she will cry/yowl more, rub on your legs or other things more, and stick her butt up in the air and move her tail to the side when you pet her. She may or may not bleed.

she CAN go into heat if the vet accidently missed a piece of her ovaries during the surgery.

if she is in heat, she will yowl, be extremely affectionate, and when you go to pet her she will put her butt in the air too.. some may even bleed too

if any of this sounds familiar you should call your vet and have him check..

I incredibly have had multiple cats with multiple distinctive personalities. i think of of your cat is useful. I incredibly have had my present day cat via reality it replaced top right into a seven week previous kitten and he or she or he's petrified of her own shadow. She additionally has this gorgeous little stutter collectively as she meows. interestingly like she is keeping her meow in 2 halves. i understand she hasn't been abused or mistreated in any way, yet a stranger ought to probably ask your self what handed off to make her that way. via utilising the way, she is 8 years previous. as long as your cat is satisfied and healthful with you, do no longer concern correct to to the previous it ought to have had. be satisfied correct to to the destiny you're giving it.
