Please tell me all you know about this. I really would like to breed some Bettas.

I need detailed instructions as I am new to this.

I find it funny when I go to someone's house and their dog gets vicious with me and constantly barks and growls at me they say oh it just doesn't like brown people or black people or well people of color. I find it funny since I have a dog and it is not like that and I am pretty sure dogs are not born racist.

his mother got ran over yesterday in our appartment complex parking lot the day befor that they were nearly dead. cause some one bombed their spot with three cans of poison but i was able to help the lil fella then they killed the mom so i guess i amhis fam now so what do i feed him i mean his cool now and man his lovable he sleeps with me and all and sound like a mini locomotor when he purrs i want to faten him up. please advise a.s.a.p.

How does having fewer animals reproducing add to shelter euthanasia?

You don't see millions of puppies in shelters, what you see are adults that have been released to the shelter for whatever reason. These dogs had a home, but for a reason only the previous owner only knows, were given to the shelter."

What's an AR? Responsible breeders who show and do genetic testing insist on taking their dogs back at anytime if the owner doesn't want them. Many ask for annual pics. Their dogs aren't in shelters- this guys may end up there down the road.

Couldn't copy the rest in to continue questioning you. People like me who adopt dogs from shelters are part of the solution not the problem. My baby will stay with me till the day he passes away.

* We just shelled out over 800 bucks for our cat Nermal to get some tests done last month. They won't accept payments and I don't know what to do. If it was a kid, the hospital wouldn't just tell us basically to go to heck. This is our kid!

She is a 2yr old Staffy/Husky cross, she is very pretty, kind of a bronze colour with black flecks and a white chest. She is called Jazz at the moment, but we have to change it as a neighbour is called Jazz, she hasn't had that name long and responds to anything, she is a rescue dog and the centre said its a good time to rename her. So far we have come up with Ruby, Foxy, Chelsea, Amber, none of which suit her, we need that name that just clicks, but so far nothing. We would prefer a two syllable name like suzie, baby, milo, that kind of thing as it is easier to train them, so please help us out, I will let you know what happens. Thanks.

My cousin brought a kitten home last night that has 1-2 broken legs, worms and fleas. I placed her in a pet carrier last night, and now she's barely moving at all.

My cousin *said* she was taking it to the vet today, but needless to say she isn't. I am basically watching this cat die. I have no money and feel so miserable, what do I do??? I have $20 until monday.

*The vets said to take her to the shelter where she would be put to sleep. Our rescues won't take anymore animals either.

I have read a lot of people on here talking about "fleas coming in on your clothes" and giving your cat fleas. If this was such a problem wouldn't everyone get fleas? Wouldn't there be fleas in the stores and work places?

I am getting a 12 wk old sheltie puppy Sunday and I can't wait!! Anyways both of his parents are 15 inches tall....is there a chance that he will get bigger then that? At what age are they full grown and when do they start getting their pretty fluffy coat? The lady I'm buying him from said that she's never had a oversized sheltie and I've never owned one. Thanks

I recentley caught a box turtle, the shell is about 4 inches long so its young and Im feeding it earthworms, tomatoes, lettuce, june bugs, various fruits, and the occasional mushrooms.
10 gallon tank with moss which it goes under to keep cool and a small pool for it to bathe in and drink.

I was wondering if the young eastern box turtle will tolerate this and be happy.

Okay. This isn't really a big deal to me but it is giving false information to an audience. I was watching this show the other day and saw the episode where he was in the snake farm. I really liked the show, but. . .

The guy that owned or worked at the snake farm or what-ever told Mike Rowe that the alligator or crocodile one I can't remeber which but he said it has the strongest bite of any animal in the world at 1500 lbs per square inch.

That is NOT true, a salt water crocodile has a bite of over 1 ton per square inch and scientists even believe that is stronger than the T-Rex had. Maybe I'm wrong about what the guy said.

Did anyone else hear him say this and disagree?
