well to deal with it now you can try giving them a bath and then brushing them out to get the loose hair. They have shampoo that will help with the shedding at most petstores. But in the long run you may want to consider changning their diets. Sometimes when a dog or cat shedds to much its because they arent getting enough of the nutrients they need. Try a diet with more protien in it. When the body doesnt get what it needs it wil get rid of something it deems unnecisary to live, like hair. If you want you can call a vet and see what he recommends. It wont cost you anything to ask a question.

Brush them daily. My vet recommended an anti-shed shampoo and a food supliment. It helped a little bit but not enough. We give our 2 pugs a bath once a week and use a scalp brush (you can get one in the health and beauty section at the supermarket). This helps get the hair that is loose out too. The fact is pugs just shed ALOT. Good luck

i ahve 2 pugs as well and bathing them and brushing them will help but i also add Omega 3 to thier food which after a month or so of use not only calmed the shedding down but also made thier skin and coat smooth and soft. Talk to your vet about giving the dogs vitamin supplements for the extreme shedding. Remember it is the summer so they will be shedding a lot and will slow down when the winter comes and thier winter coats come in.

They should be brushed daily with a curry brush. any other brush really dosn't get teh dead hair out.
I would give a good bath and blow dry while blowdrying brush against the way the hair grows it will take most of teh dead hair out and tehn brush everyday.
