Yes, they continue to grow as normal.
Neutering does not remove growth hormones, only most (but not all) sex hormones. Neutering does slow down the metabolism, which makes an animal more prone to weight gain but does not stop it achieving full size.

EDIT: Weight gain after neutering is perfectly controllable. If you're going to feed your dog stuff like pedigree chum, bakers etc then expect it to gain weight.

Neutering a pup is the way to go.
If you neuter an adult dog, it may gain weight. I had this problem with my last dog. Granted, his food intake and lack of exercise, combined with general aging, also contributed to his weight gain - but it started shortly after he was neutered. I simply waited too long. The good news, though, is that with a vet supervised dietary change and an increase in his activity, I helped him drop all that extra weight and most likely prolonged his life!
Still, I recommend neutering as a pup. And yes, they will still grow. LOL! I had my pups neutered when they were 6 months of age and they continued to grow after that. And, as pups, they still have tons of energy, so there has been no abnormal weight gain.

Not as well as they would have if they were intact. They can't because they do not have the testosterone in their system to allow them to grow and mature fully. People here have no idea what they are talking about, they know nothing about hormones or growth factors. All they can talk about is fixing a dog to prevent more dogs at the pound. Never mind how your dog will develop or what YOU want. Look under my questions for an interesting article on the effects neutering has on a dog.
By the way, why is it that when a male human is low on test he gets on a supplemental test program? Why would he needed? Could it be for full development? Hmmmm, things that make you wonder......

Yes being neutered doesn't have anything to do with a dog growing.

It depends. If you neuter an adult dog no, he wont grow afterward, because he was already done growing. If you neuter a puppy yes he will continue to grow.

I know that people say that dogs don't get fat after being neutered... But ever single male dog I've ever seen that's been neutered, has gotten fat.
For example,
my grandma's chiwawasnasdfn [I can't spell it, and I'm not going to try. Little rat dog that tries to act like it could eat you...] was skinny and healthy before it was neutered, but within a few weeks of it being done, the dog is now fat and lazy. It sits on the couch all day and doesn't do much else. it's only 3years old, so it should have energy enough to play occasionally.

Yes, a dog will grow, but I he'll be lacking testosterone so his growth will be altered a bit. If you removed a human boy's testicles before puberty, he would look different as he grew up. Same with dogs. He'd probably have slightly less muscle mass. There's generally less difference between male and female dogs than there is between male and female humans, so it would be harder to tell.

Of course, neutering doesn't do any harm, quite the opposite, it prevents a lot of poor behavior and illnesses in animals.
