If anyone has a nagging question they can't seem to find a good answer to, I am avail. for it. If I don't know , I will NOT make something up!! I have hords of professors who are biting at the bit to help me anytime . So, for a well educated ANSWER based on facts instead of opinion, feel free!! I have particpated in seminars covering human AND animal nutrition, everything horses (from nutrition to riding-have been a professional trainer for 12 years, including barrels racing, cutting, and reining, and lameness/farrier issues), and have been a vet tech for 6 years, and am in vet school for pet related questions.. so I LOVE answering questions and helping people with prob. imma youngin` and i really want a dog; well a puppy.. and there`s this site.. and they`re located in valencia,CA called, "Galikennels" if anyone has heard of them.. feedback would be nice.. they`re aggressive dogs i know, but if they`re brought up in a nonagressive manner.. this changes, right? or is that wrong? i know they still have the potential to be mean.. but then again so does every other dog.. would they be good with my friends.. around 14/15 year`s old.. my brother; he`s 3. ? or should i just resort to getting a rotweiler.. i want a "mean-looking" dog..

I have a Jack Russell Terrier we adopted about a year ago named Zakky.
And a black kitten with white on his belly and green eyes named Toshiya and we call him Toshi or Yoshi for short!

I just added a neon blue gourami to a 55 gallon tank that contains 5 black neons, 2 diamond tetras, 2 corys, and a marigold platy. As soon as I added the gourami to the tank the platy started stalking him in the tank and won't leave his side. Is this going to stress out the gourami and does anyone know why this is happening?

My girlfriend has had her goldfish for quite some time now and its been in its tank with some other goldfish for about 6 months. Recently he has started to sit on the bottom of the tank and look depressed. He doesn't move unless he see's someone by the tank, but then he instantly sinks back down again. We frequently change the water and clean the filter. The other fish seem fine. What can we do to make poor Bobba smile again?

I have a 29 gallon tank with neon tetras, guppies, corydora, algae eater, gold ones, zebra danios, glo-light, and 2 different mollies
I have a seperater so it could be seperate in my tank the guppies are 2 fry one is male one is female so i could seperate them from the tank and betta

I have recently noticed that one of my female guppies has developed a sack-like thing on her underside. At first I thought she was giving birth but she's definitely not! What is it? Okay so its a complicated thing.. The hardest thing that i've ever had to do, i had to put my dogs in boarding, was spose to be for a week.. they've been there 4 mos. There like my kids, and its not fair one them or the clinic, but its so hard to find a place where i can have them. they are pit bulls and very well manored at that. I'm inbetween places right now and still haventbeen able to find a friend or n e one or n e place that i can have dogs so there saying they want to consider them abandoned. not the case.. just in a situation. i work 2 jobs and still cant do n e thign about it cuz theres always somethign that needs to be paid.

if you know of n e thing or have ne helpful ideas, let me know.

It has been a long time since I have seen such a ridiculous witchhunt. The media is all worked up over a guy doing what he wants with his dogs, all the while snacking on a chicken sandwich or cheeseburger.

Dogs are stupid animals just like cows. I prefer beef over dog and I like chicken better than cat, but so what. That is just my personal taste.

Are we really prepared to start locking people up over such an arbitrary distinction?

I live in an apartment across the hallway from my sister's apartment. My Nephew and Neace come over to play. My Neace is a really good girl. However my Nephew likes to hurt my kitten and make her cry. His parents said that if he can't be over at my apartment then his sister can't come over either because it's not fair that she can come over and he can't. I think that's bull because he should be punished not her. Last night my Neace told me infront of her mom that my Nephew made my kitten cry five times. Her mother scorned her for "tattle telling" and blamed her for the cat getting her by saying that if she didn't come over then he wouldn't come over and the cat wouldn't get hurt. Anyways, why do little boys do this? What can I do about it? His parents won't take him to therapy even though he's been kicked out of pre-school for being violent.

Do those two go good together? I just started my fish tank and i'm getting eager to put more fish in it... i have had it set up for about a week, and i have adjusted the ph, and the tempreature is good... i just keep wanting to add more fish... i only have 2 tiger barbs and a plocoustomous... i am thinking of adding a beta... but i think the tiger barbs will be mean to it...
