It has been a long time since I have seen such a ridiculous witchhunt. The media is all worked up over a guy doing what he wants with his dogs, all the while snacking on a chicken sandwich or cheeseburger.
Dogs are stupid animals just like cows. I prefer beef over dog and I like chicken better than cat, but so what. That is just my personal taste.
Are we really prepared to start locking people up over such an arbitrary distinction?

OK. I'll admit that this was somewhat tongue in cheek.
Bad laws aren't corrected by being ignored. Of course, those of driving age who have never exceeded the speed limit can stop reading.
Now that everybody is still reading , the point is liberty. There seems an overweighted tendedcy toward control and legislation in this country, but where are we headed?
We already throw people in prison for smoking one thing that grows from the ground? We are pushing harder and harder toward legislating other things that people might want to eat, drink or smoke.
It's all fun and games I guess while nobody gives a rats behind about anybody's liberty anymore; that is until the gestapo decides that your behavior is criminal too.
You can crap on Michael Vick now because his preferences are so alien to you, but keep an eye over your shoulder. Are you sure that imprisoning dogs and cats inside houses will be legal in 25 years?

Right.. Its not a witch hunt? who are you??
Micheal Vick's record speaks for itself just in the last year of how he has gotten in trouble more then once over stupid acts. It's against the law to have dog fights. It's a cruel sport. He was indicted for 19 counts they have plenty of evidence , they had evidence over 4 months ago about this. Now they have enough proof to convict him, and I hope they do. Granted Atlanta is my favorite team. He used to be my favorite player. Now he is just pathetic just like your question.

YES YES YES!!! It is despicable to breed dogs to fight one another! What Vick got caught doing is against any ethical, moral standards of man kind. I can not believe anyone would think watching two dogs kill each other is entertaining. What is this world coming to! Gee I think the saying is "dog is man's best Friend" He should be thrown in jail and his football career annihilated!

The fact that Michael Vick is a celebrity - and as such carries the responsibility not to engage in felonious activities like dog fighting - which is illegal in this country.
He and his brother are constantly at loggerheads with the law and our sports-centered society has turned a blind eye and deaf ear long enough to celebrities with attitudes.
And you're welcome to join him in prison if you wish.

Dogs are not stupid animals!
They have feelings just like us!
Say you are a dog.
Would you want to be put in a cage with another dog,
just to be either killed from the other dog, injured terribly,
or injured so bad that you have to be put down!
And of course,its illegal!

I say we throw this moron into the ring with one of the dogs trained to fight. I hope the dog goes right for his tiny, almost non-existent balls first! What a tool...

Yes. Dog fighting is illegal, cruel, and represents the lowest common denominator within our society.
The fact is, he broke laws. if guilty, he should be given the maximum penalty.

You probably just asked this question to get a little attention. If that is the case, please get a pet frog, but not a dog. I don't believe a dog deserves your type of intelligence.
