To Lan Lan.. these are symptoms of her last few dya sbefore giving birth. "Nesting" is usually within 48 hours and she may stop eating soon. When you notice her producing milk, this is within the same time period, and if you can take her temperture (99 or so is what you are looking for) she will decrease her temperature in the last 12-24 hours. She must have been bred very quickly after her first litter because gestation is around 65 days or so. Uusally it isnt healthy for a cat to be rebred until the kittens are at least weeks, but she may be a little sooner. Email me directly for more info

Shay...I hope you get this soon!!! My cat is pregnant (First litter April 2, 2007) and I think she is getting ready to deliver the kittens. What signs do I look for? She has really "Poofed" out on the sides of her belly, she is continuously licking herself, she goes in hiding, sits their and just meows at me (like she is trying to tell me something), last night she practically emptied her litter box by digging in the kitty litter...Is she on her way to becoming a mom again? Thank you so much. LanLan

My daughter graduated two years ago in nutrition from Arizona State University. She loves her work in nutrition.
