Yes, if he is guilty.
Dog fighting is cruel, disgusting and trashy, trashy, trashy.
It makes me sick.

I don't think so because for one...
1) Okay yeah it was on his property but we have to remember something, he had family staying there in his stead. He wasn't there most of the time so it could have happened while he wasn't around.
2) The only reason why I believe he is being charged, and not his cousin is clearly because he didn't show up to something with congress when he said he'd attend... made them mad and now they want to punish him.
3) Considering the fact that none of us were there we're only going on what the media has told us, and frankly, they've lied to us before so why not now when you have this player who is really good... raking in a whole bunch of money... and was a possible hall-of-famer. *He's not now because of this.*
I just think it's bull that he's being charged for something that wasn't under anything he administered and nothing he did. Because if he is so into dog fights as they claim, then why did they just now charge him on this... AFTER HE'S COUSIN MOVED IN WITH HIM!!! Everyone seems to be forgetting that little fact huh? Why didn't he do it before? I think everyone needs to get off Mike Vick and go to the real criminals... and that's the one's who actually did hold the dog fights.
But un-like everyone else, I'm not gonna be a fair-weather fan. I've stuck by Mike for this long... I'm standing behind him on this. No I don't approve of dog fights considering the fact that I own a dog who I love dearly and is a member of my family. I love all animals and I hate to see the mis-treated by anyone. It breaks my heart. Yes I believe dog fights are terrible and anyone who likes that **** is a complete ***hole and needs to be treated the same way. But if you're gonna charge someone for this crime, charge the right person. Don't just point fingers.
He's only being charged because it was his house and it's all substantial evidence. You know all of you who are wishing death on Michael Vick for this are just as evil as the one's who were involved in this crime that Vick is being wrongly accused of. Only you're even more evil. You are WISHING DEATH ON A HUMAN LIFE!!! And they way you are is terrible, imagine if it was someone you loved, or even you, would you want the same death... if so by all means go ahead. But how dare any of you judge this man and sentence him to death when you're not sure yourself if he's innocent or guilty? I think the majority of you are just jumping on the band wagon of the let's all hate Mike Vick. And as a matter of fact, how many of you would help a homeless person but you'll help a dog? Is a dog's life more important than a human's now?

he should be locked up w/ the same kinds of dogs he was training. Dog fighters literally drive their dogs insane. They deprive them of food and nourishment, lock them in dark closets, chain them up by their necks so their back feet can barely touch the ground. Plus, if they dont win, they're usually killed. Either that or used as a bait dog in the next fight. What's the point of dogfighting anyway? Can't find another way to gamble? This crap makes me sick, and is the reason i have to defend my pitbull(which is the nicest dog ive ever had). Dogfighting is the problem, not pitbulls.

Jail?? I think Vick (and his accomplices) should all face the same consequences as those poor dogs they killed. They should be either shot, hung, drowned or electrocuted to death - take your pick. Anyone who is cruel to animals is a scumbag in my book.

He should go to jail because he killed 8 of his dogs. After conviction, he should never be allowed to play in the NFL again. How could he do something so cruel to animals?!

Yes! He should definitely have some sort of harsh penalty. What he did is so wrong. They need to make an example out of him.

do you really need to ask this question?
Of course he should.
He and his brother, and his cousin - his entire family for that matter - are nothing but trash.
I would call them black rednecks - but at least a redneck has respect for a dog.

If he's found guilty of the crime then he should suffer the consequences. He'll make a fine example.
