My dog is a sheltie.
He is 3 years old, and since we just leave a bowl of food he eats whenever he wants and goes to the bathroom whenever he wants.
I think that he should eat "dinner" and go poo before everybody goes to sleep.
I don't want him to be constipated during the night.
I've heard you give the dog food twice a day, but is it twice a day of three tiems a day?
I've also learned that you give the dog 30 minutes to consume the food. Is that true?

My Mut has normal eyelids and then underneath that there is an opaque eyelid that closes sideways. Whats up with that? You can only see it when shes sleepy. If you wake her up her normal eyelids open and you can see the second ones halfway open in the process of closing. What is it?

My cat is just turning 2 years old in August, we think- but he is 2 ft long and about 10-12 pounds. Is that bad, or what?? And he has wierd liquidy stuff coming out of his eyes, like tears. . .

A week ago i have A LOT of live betta fry...now there's only 3!!! they slowly dwindled in numbers...i did everything i could...changed half of the water, did not over feed...but they are still dying...i'm about to give up now but i want to give the remaining 3 a fighting chance. Last night while i was checking the tank, I saw tiny specks of white things on the side of the tank...so small (slightly bigger than the period at the end of this sentence.) that i first thought nothing about it. When i woke up today, i swear that the specks are more now than last night.

What's this? Is this the one killing my fry? is this Saprolegnia fungus? i tried checking the web for Sap but did not find a picture similar to those tiny white specks...

Help Please! should i evacuate the 3 remaining fry to safety?

answer ASAP!

My dog started falling all over the place because of his weak hind legs. We took him to the vet and he was diagnosed with diabetes. He hasn't walked in 3 days and I believe he has diabetes neuropathy, I looked on the internet and it says it's common in cats but can sometimes happen to dogs (I guess we are one of the few dog owners to go through this). Has anyone else experience this? will he walk again after we get his diabetes in check? any info will be helpful.

I got my Shih-Tzu neutered thursday, he is very sore & swollen ,He wont let me ice the swelling like the vet said i could .... i am wondering , how long is the swelling going to last ? what i should look for in case it gets infected , can i do anything for pain ... anyone who has had their dog neutered ,please tell me what to expect or if you have any advice.... I put my hand in his cage gently move it towards him with the tip of my finger touch him and he freaks. We just found out that our stray had three kittens, they are about 3.5 weeks old. They're just now starting to explore, which both excites and worries me. Though I would love to pet and cuddle them, I am instead just going to watch as they grow and develop so they won't get used to people, for their own safety. How else can I help to protect them from other people that may see them and from other animals? I would love suggestions and helpful hints in helping our kitty raise her babies!

I just brought 8 baby goldfish yesterday afternoon. Within 2hrs of getting them home 2 died. Later on last night i found one more dead and then this morning another died. I called to pet shop where i got them and told the guy what was going on and he had me go to the store so he could test the pH level of my water. That came out fine so he gave me 5 new fish. Again after 2 hrs of having them home two more have died. What could be going on and how can i stop my fish from dying?

he chews on laptop, headphone, and everything else cords. We've tried blowing in his face, making loud noise, and coating the cords in hot sauce to make him stop, to no avail. Anyone have a good idea to get him to stop?

Hello, I came home from work and I was greeted by a snake that was black and about 2 to 4 feet long. As I attempted to walk into my house door it tried to attack me, I guess because it was scared. I'm sorry I don't have enough details of the snake because I ran into my house not knowing if this snake was dangerous or venomous.

Can someone please tell me what this snake was and should I call the animal control to have them remove it? I live in Bradenton, Florida if that would help on finding out what snake this was.

i have a dwarf hamster names Lucielle Sidnie. She Is lihgt gray with a little tan in her back. I have a Excersize ball for her and she seems like she loves it. but.. is it okay for them to be in there? i saw somewhere that i hurts a guinea pigs spine.. is that the same for Dwarf Hamsters?

My puppy that is 5 mo old has lost a tooth while we were playing with a pull toy. Should she lose any teath at such a young age? It dosent seem to bother her at all. She is a miniature Doxson.
