Just keep handling him. To a tiny snake, you are a predator and he just thinks you are going to harm him. He will more than likely calm down. Most corns are jumpy as they are young but tend to calm down around a year old. There will always be exceptions though.

Are you jumpy or nervouse when handling him? How often are you feeding him? Baby corns need a pinky mouse about every 5 -7 days. Corn snakes are usually very easy to handle, they are bought most often as a first snake. I'm sure with propper care he will turn out fine.

No as long as you keep picking her up every day, she'll soon grow out of it. Corn snakes have very bad eyesight, and she is scared at being handled at first. She will be tasting the air with her tongue, and will get used to your smell/ taste. It's also worse when she is shedding because the eyes glaze over and she won't be able to see any thing.

It really depends. Sometimes nervous behaviour and the like are due to genetic make up I heard recently. The best thing you can do is continue with the handling.

we had one that continued to be jumpy through out its life, so sorry to say, but it might stay that way - keep handling as much as you can - he may change

He should calm down but it's not unusual for them to be like this.
