If you try to make your dog grow faster, he will have all kinds of skeletal issues. You can but I don't know why you would want to.

The average weight is 70-85 lbs. His weight will fill out as he grows upwards. In medium sized dogs that is about 1 1/2 to 2 years old. You dog is not even half way there.

Usually a Weimaraner is full grown between 18 months and 2 years old. There is nothing you can do to make him grow faster. If you feel he isn't the weight that he should be, look into feeding him a high quality food. One without corn meal, soy, or any other fillers. Most of the grocery store types, Pedigree, Alpo, Science Diet, Purina, etc are not very healthy for a dog. Try something like Chicken Soup for the Dog Lover's Soul, Large Breed, Wellness, etc. These you can buy at a pet store. They cost a little more, but the end results are worth it.

By 10 mos he is almost done growing, he may get a wee bit taller but will fill out between 1-2 yrs old. If he was neutered at 7-8 weeks he will grow taller much slower but will end up taller than his later neutered or non neutered littermates. Their growth rate is genetic as is their size.
