Yes.
its me again.
I just want everything to go perfectly when i get this pup.

I have a list of items that i will bring when we go on this trek to pick up our Weimaraner.
1. Empty gallon of water. (So breeder can fill it)
Crate.
Old towels. (In crate)
Paper towels. (In case of accident)
(A few in a watery plastic bag)
2 toys
color & leash
(if need to go out, stop at an area where noone would walk their dog usually. Back roads, etc.)


Am I missing anything?

My cat, whom recently adopted ME as it's owner is very territorial and is very protective of our big backyard (it's a heaven for kitty cats) and he is always fighting with a big orange cat next door. Problem is...my kitty got declawed (not by me!) and he doesn't fair so well in the fights (I had to take him to the vet where he got 7 stitches in his head). Total Cost: $450, but having him in my life...priceless

Hello! I recently had a litter of rats (unplanned! I adopted a rat from a friend who got her from a local pet the day before and the rat was pregnant!). I am very attached to them all as they were handraised by yours truly. But, I know that as a struggling college student, I cannot afford to keep very many of the offspring. I am weaning the babies now and they are doing really well. There is one particular baby (out of the 15!) that I am very attached to and I was wondering if I could, after complete weaning and the mom has ceased lactating, house them together. Does anyone have experience with this kind of a situation? Thanks!

Well I have a three year old english springer spaniel, he is very playfull and overall a very good playmate to my two year old, however whenever he gets upset he goes under the bed and if you walk by or call him he'll start growling. Also he is always trying or steling food from the table. I love him but sometimes he acts like an idiot like I never feed him , always acting hungry or begging when in reallity he eats a good amount . What should I do to correct this?

do i need to see a spike in amonia nitrate or nitrite to know my tank has started to cycle? will i see nitrite or nitrate first ? i have three damsels and some cured live rock. the tanks been going for like 2 weeks and i have yet to get any spike in any of my levels. is there i such thing as to much filtration? im really new to this can someone answer me like i am 2 years old so i can understand? hahah thanks

I started keeping fish when I was 13 having got myself a part time job at the Local Aquarium shop, since then I've kept fish over the last 30 odd years, I currently work nights and get bored once in awhile and found this site, and thought I'd add too it amazingly enough I answer more questions in Fish section as I think I have something to add (or did).
It would seem that some ppl are under the impression I've done something wrong, as those ppl obviously know more on the subject than myself I'll leave it up to you, I can find other things to do with my time.

Cioa mamamia, one assumes your one of those multi account holders you bleated on about.

My parentsa said if I be responsible for 60 days they would consirder it. She has become more affectionate then usual, she sleeps alot, once I found her in the closet, she eats alot more, and she has become heavier.
Is she pregnant? She go's outside and over fences so we never know what goes on over there, but are 2 neighbores have dogs.

I took in a stray puppy. She appears to have mange. We have tried lots of different things and it looks a lot better but it isn't completely gone. We are a little strapped for cash so we cant afford a big vet bill but we want to do what we can for her. Any suggestions?

I'am doing a water change and I just pulle dthe air stone up from the under gravel filter and there is a bug or fish or an alien attached to it. It's about 1/2 inche and has 3 legs on either side near the head. it has a triangle shaped hear and big eyes on each side...also has a tail with 3 forks to it? what is this and if I have 1 will I have more?

I have 5 yoyo botia
1 panda cory
2 flying fox
and 3 glofish danio
this does not look like any of their off spring

the tank is also planeted

I currenlty have a ten gallon tank with juvinile guppies in it. I have a 30g where i house my adult guppies.
Now my Q is whats the best tank setup? I mean 4 tanks to raise the fry 2 for breeding out exc.

P.s im trying to run this out of my room I can probrbaly fit max 5 maybe six more tanks in there but im trying to get so many fy that i have no idea what to do with them

i want to starated taking my dog to get trained as since he turned 6months he is not listen i think his balls are dropping and he is try to get above me again in the pack order i have always been the boss but later im have trouble he is a staffy which im told are very strong mind dogs i just want to know sould i get a one on one trainer or go to a group as all he wants to do when he see other dogs is play with them and i want him to listen to me, as he is a very strong dog already ,he is so great with kids will not jump on them and he sits when told he will not eat till you tell him ,but when i call him he wont listen sometimes please help money and time is not a promble

I just adopted her from PetsMart through the Last Chance Society and I'm just a bit worried about her incision when she got neutered. It's a tad bit crusty, and she's constantly wanting to lick it. It doesn't look infected but if it starts to get that way, how will I know before it gets really bad?
