I am sorry. :( Take time to say good bye. Take him to the vet; they'll take care of everything. Talk to your friends about him. Take care of yourself and allow yourself to grieve.

I am sorry about your dog!

Most states have laws about burying animals, on both private and public property. Check before you bury. If you are caught, you will be fined (or more) and you will have to dig the poor doggie back up.
There are some pet cemeteries where you can bury your dog.

It is easiest to go the the vet and have the dogs cremated. It costs money and you have to choice to keep the ashes or for the vet to dispose of them.

Do not rush into getting another puppy or dog until you are ready. It may take years. It will be way worse (emotionally) on you if you get a puppy before you are ready to accept another.

Well, yes, your dog is dead. Do you grieve? Are you sad? Are you angry? Did (s)he die of a natural reason, old age, sickness. Or did he die of a car? Starvation? First of all, don't buy a new pet. That just means you don't care about him/her. If you want to cry, go ahead. It also depends if you were close to your dog. Well, you could bury him/her. They have this phone number where you take the doggy to a cementary. Dog style that is. You wouldn't want to bury him/her because it might smell, but it would be nicer. You can visit him/her more often.

Sorry for your loss.

If he is not too big bury him in the backyard. If too big call around to find out who does cremation in your area. Where we are the animal control people do them for about a third the price of private businesses and they even pick up the animal from your place. They'll also give you the ashes back if you want them but it's more expensive.

Honestly buy a puppy or get a rescued dog. They will provide enough distraction for you to heal and they will provide a good outlet for the love you have to give that is making you hurt so much right now.

So sorry to hear, keep your head up, you will love again.

Oh man, I'm sorry. But yeah, bury him. Personally I'd see why he died first but that's just me. Again, sorry.
