My Dog alarm barks how do I get her to stop???

Alarm barking in her case is she barks at noises, mainly when people come through the door, and at guys. I need help!! How do I get her to stop?!?

My little Min Pin barks a lot. Someone told me to get a spray bottle of water and squirt him on his chest when he barks. I tried this and it really works. I usually just squirt him wherever. I can't believe how good it works. I tried everything else to no avail.

Mine barks at night and it drives me crazy. I have to sleep with the TV on so that she doesn't hear any noises. If I turn the TV off we get absolutely no sleep at all. TV on we sleep like babies!!
I don't think that you can make them stop completely. She is just watching out for you. She is taking care of the house and all that is in it. I wish mine just barked at visitors. She barks at every squeak and noise.

She's probably frightened easily of noises, try to get her out more, maybe to a park where she can interact with the nature and see other people, then she shouldnt bark at every little thing.

If your dog barks at the window put yourself between her and the window and stay there until she stops barking and leaves the window. Continue to do this until she gets the picture that you will not take anymore of her aggressiveness.

barkin can mean several things, depending on circumstances. for example when strangers approach their home, to greet owner when arriving home, when it wants attention, companionship, or just to go outside. It also signals iminent danger and just simply when it is in the offensive or defensive threatening position. You need to let her/him know when everything is okay, gently talk to her/him and calm the dog down. Praise him/her when it is a good reason for barking. You have to teach them like little babies.
