my friend has got a boxer pup. and he also got a new house. he has a small garden and its in the city. was happy for him so far.
then he tells me, he doesnt let his boxer pup roam in the house and he keeps it in a large kennel/cage.
and i am surprised because i have never heard anything like it. i have dogs and i keep them free in the house.
i want to tell him what i thin, but id like to get my facts right..
so can pups be kept in cages..? he takes it out for a pee and wee and lets it out for sometime..but its inn for most of the time..
feeed back!!

She always wants to be at my side. When trying to do basics commands, she does sit, lay down, and come. But trying to get her to stay and not follow me has not been learned yet. I take a step back she goes a step forward. I can give her attention all day long, but it seems she can't get enough. Any suggestions?

I've got this husky/chow mix who is so picky. I finally laid down the law and did the thing about putting the food down, if he doesn't eat, pick it up, and so on... He finally starts eating his dog food... FINALLY! Well, a day or two ago, I brought my black lab inside b/c it's been raining WAY too much over here and it was wet and cold out there. Today while I'm taking my shower, my black lab decides to help herself to the turkey my mom just cooked. It's like, just the turkey body. No wings or legs or anything on it. No bones. I thought I had heard something fall when I got out the shower. Figured I'd check it out later. Well, it was later and I hadn't noticed for a lil' while, but then saw that half the turkey was gone! I looked at Steele's (husky) stomach and it's huge... of course. I know it was Nighque (lab) who pulled it down b/c Steele can't reach that high up on the stove. ...So, how am I EVER going to get Steele to eat his food continuously? -_- I'm so annoyed right now...

Hi I bought a puppy few days ago, l when he first entered my house he was healthy and full of energy, however just last night he started to have diarrhea and throwing up what should I do, I know I should take him to the vet but I live in a small town and they are closed due to a storm.

p.s. when I bought him the shipped him here he was 8 weeks old and the health certificate indicate that he had no syndromes and I don’t think that he became sick because of our home.

We have a 9 month old lhasa apso and are getting an 8 week old yorkie/silky mix in a couple of weeks. She will be crate trained until she is house trained but then they will have the run of a large room together. What kind of toys, dog houses, etc can we safely put in for them to play without worrying they will get hurt?

My mom put brownies in the gorage to cool down quicker. Well stupid on my moms part our dog got into it and ate about a small handful size of the brownies. they were made with bakers chocolate and semi-sweet chocolate. And he is a little over 20 pounds. Will this be enough to kill him? or even affect him?

My ferret (3 years old) was fine all a.m., just walked over to the corner and vomitted 4 times, had a drink, checked out her food bowl, curled up and went to sleep. Should I be concerned. I have already googled it, and know the "potential causes", but she is not in any type of distress, and it seems to be an isolated event. Any ideas or suggestions?
