I've got this husky/chow mix who is so picky. I finally laid down the law and did the thing about putting the food down, if he doesn't eat, pick it up, and so on... He finally starts eating his dog food... FINALLY! Well, a day or two ago, I brought my black lab inside b/c it's been raining WAY too much over here and it was wet and cold out there. Today while I'm taking my shower, my black lab decides to help herself to the turkey my mom just cooked. It's like, just the turkey body. No wings or legs or anything on it. No bones. I thought I had heard something fall when I got out the shower. Figured I'd check it out later. Well, it was later and I hadn't noticed for a lil' while, but then saw that half the turkey was gone! I looked at Steele's (husky) stomach and it's huge... of course. I know it was Nighque (lab) who pulled it down b/c Steele can't reach that high up on the stove. ...So, how am I EVER going to get Steele to eat his food continuously? -_- I'm so annoyed right now...

No... my /mom/ left food for them to get. After I've REPEATEDLY told her not to b/c she KNOWS Nighque can get it... I oughta smack her instead... -_-

Well the first thing I would worry about is if your dog is sick from eationg so much.If not, try feeding it the dog food you would normally and do not give up until he does and if he refuses make sure you call a vet or a dog nutricionist about him/her not eating.I hope I helped,If not sorry

Roll up a newspaper and smack YOURSELF over the head and repeat:
I didn't watch my dog. I left food where the dog could get it.

Just start over, your dog will catch on.
