My pup (peke-a-tzu) is being really agressive, he is seven months. We had problems with him trying to eat everything in site when outside. At first he would let us take it out of his mouth, but then he started getting to the point where he would bite, growl, etc. if we tried to remove it. He had one thing that made him sick, luckily he was able to pass it. But no matter how much we watched, he always seemed to find something.

So we started letting him carry a toy outside that he only got when we were out there. He was very proud and wouldn't put it down. Problem solved. Well, then we got a new problem, he got to the point where he didn't want to give the toy back. My vet said to try to trade him for treats. So we started that, he did really good, for a while.

Now, if we give him the treat, he tried to, literally, attack us if we go to pick him up. So, then they recommended having him walk in on his own. We started that and he is doing really well with it.

Help Me! My dog just started pucking last night. He is about 14 weeks old. I can't get him into a vet till next friday. What could it be? He has been eating the same dog food since we got him @ 10 weeks old and never had anytrouble with him. He eats table scraps all the time as well but the other night i gave him some scraps he seemed fine. Woke up and there was puke on the floor at the foot of my bed! And just a few hours ago he was given the crust of a pizza like always but a few hours later he was puking it up. a few hours prior to that the puck looked like phleam. like a sinus infection. I don't know what to do for him he lays around and looks misserable what can i do? Oh yea his name is rocky and he is a doberman , and pitbull mix. Thanks

Anyone know a good name for a black labradoodle? I like Latin and Greek names and I don't want anything common like max or sam. It is very hard to decide a name when it is your dog!

My cat has the best life.. lots of love, he eats and sleeps and gets pet alll day ... that is all I want out of life.

Would anyone else trade places with their cat in a heartbeat if they could?

Has anyone else ever wished they could do this .. or am I just clinically depressed?

dont rant on me about not going to a pound, shelter, rescue- im humane and loving it's just that i've had absolutely lovely experiences with purebreds, sorry!

in mid june of '07 we are looking to get a papillon (don't convince me to change my mind about the breed please).

anyway; we have a purebred golden which we kinda sorta got from a backyard breeder; where can we get a purebred papillon besides a place like that ?!

I live in california and am renting a house.

I was wondering if it is against the law for a renter
to raise animals?

I dont have much yardage but enough to raise some
chickens.

Input?

My three month old kitten had surgery Jan 11. The next day she was running and playing, even jumping off the bathroom counter. Of course I am going nuts over her doing this. I keep thinking her incision is going to open and her guts will leak out! Its driving me insane. I love my little girl so much. Her incision is a little pinkish one one side. I put her in a cage but she wails. She's not use to sleeping alone. What do you all think? Let her play or cone her??

I am 13 years old. I really want a dog. We are a really active family. don't tell me i'm to young to have a dog because i am very responsible and my parents have agreed to let me have one if i do research and think about what breed is best for me. I am looking for a very energetic and active dog one that would be good at frisbee and agility. I would also like a running partner. Medium- large in size. i also probably couldn't get a very fancy breed because i am against puppy mills and back yard breeders so we would probably get the dog from the pound or a local rescue. I am just looking for a nice family dog that i can cuddle up with on the couch or go outside and play with. this dog would also have to be good with other dogs and just an all around nice breed. thank you very much. give me lots of suggestions.

It's me, Lauren, the OP, and I feel I left out some info. My cat has been at the vet for 2 days. I took him Friday afternoon, after seeing his demanor and thinking that he had had a stroke. It is the vet's belief that he will not come out of it, due to his other probelms, as well as his age. BUT, he has improved slightly since Friday, and before then was living a normal life. The only reason she knew about the kidney disease was from routine blood work (he does have excessive thrist) and the heart murmur was diagnosed again, during a normal exam. It has worsened, but he has no signs of distress. He had trouble walking on Friday, and was "out of it" when I brought him in, but she said both of those have improved as well.

If he is eating, drinking, and able to walk, even if unsteady, I would like to bring him home.
Any new thoughts?

I posted a question a few days ago about my angelfish (marble angels) and I said they had laid eggs and now all of the eggs are gone (they ate them) none hatched. Well there are these weird off white "things" alive and swimming around in my tank. At first they looked like lice? They are so tiny its hard to really tell what they are even with a magnifying glass. Well now they are taking the form of something that looks like a tiny tiny inch worm. (Again, very hard to tell even with a magnifying glass) They are crawling around on the glass, and the other form (looks like lice) swim around in the tank. One person said maybe it is a "Hydra"? i'm not sure since its hard to tell what these things in my tank look like. If they are Hydra, I thought someone said you had to have brine shrimp to cause this and I dont have any. ANY THOUGHTS WOULD BE HELPFUL.. Other than that I'm gonna try to kill the beasties before something happens to my fish who seem clueless.

I am a 12-year-old girl and have been wanting to take English riding lessons for several years. I have never ridden English before, only Western, and think the experience might be a good one. But the only problem is money. How much does a month cost to take lessons at a stable? (I am not looking for classy stables, but one with good facilities, staff, ect.)
