I went to a dog park today,,i have a 15 week old puppy bichon..i finally let her run because it is all enclosed..I was with a friend that has 2 dogs, they had a great time..There was a larger dog that was wild, and barking very strangely..She ran after my pup and kitterally was attacking her..I ran like hell over there grabbed my baby, and that dog was still trying to attack her when i held her high in the air,,The owner wasnt there, she was out of town and a friend brought her there,,She was attacking other dogs also, and said the owner brings her here all the time,,Obviously its my last trip there, but what can u do about a wild dog???

the question is not IF you should, but how FAST you can!
It is not fair that YOU and your dog should be punished by the bad behavior of another.

ok, it sounds like the dog is pretty dangerous. i wonder if it went "free" and crazy because the original owner wasnt there. but i think that you should try to talk to that owner, if you want to and say that their dog is a hazardous animal. the friend didnt say anything like stop or something? i think that is very irresponsible of the friend to not do anything. especially if was attacking other dogs. confront the owner, or if you go again, and it happens again, contact the pound. maybe they can give you advice. dont try to be rude about it, just state your case.

I would report the owner, if the owner knowingly allows their dog to attack other dogs. By allow I mean if they know their dog gets excited and has a tendency to attack and they do little or nothing to prevent it. Someone could have been seriously hurt.

Definitely report the dog/owner. That way there's a record of bad behavior and if something else happens your report can help.

there are higher powers in most parks considering they are usually county or state run, id be surprised if anybody actually did anything though. just don't go there.

i highly recommend that you dont jump in the middle of anymore vicious dogfights, then make yourself a target by holding the target of the rabid animal over your head...

Report it to the authority and let them know, before it's too late for some little unknowing dog......
