we have two puppies the one is somewhat progressing in house training and other things but the other one just looks at me like he doesnt understand....there mother was thrown down the stair during labor by some guy so he was born with a screwed up jaw and would not eat properly..so we thought he may have brain damage

My Boxer puppy is 12 weeks old. I just got him 4 days ago. He is very scared of loud noises and someone walking in the room. He is just now starting to come to us when we call him. Do you think he will outgrow this? I have 4 other dogs in the house with him and he does great with them. Tell me some ways to get him to stop being like this?? Pleas Help!! Thanks

Someone asks if, under the living situation they have, they should get a Newf. And sure as God made little green apples....there is the "cut and paster" putting up the ENTIRE AKC breed STANDARD to answer the question. Now this is really not giving an answer to the question. The person did NOT ask the breed standard.
And since the site was not even MENTIONED....is that NOT plagerism?????

I just moved and my dog has to be on a long lead outside while the grass grows in the yard. She is a 3 year old dutch shepard lab mix and she paces and whines for up to 5 hours at a time! She has to stay out side...and she has shelter and blankets! What can I do to stop this??!!

yeah, my tiel likes to go to sleep right by the water bowl, and her tail soaks in the water all night. i noticed this morning that there was a green mold or algea on her tail that was soaked in the bowl. what do i do? cut the tail off? (it's not a blood feather, it's at the end of the tail) or put someting on the tail? if so, what do i need to put on it? or do i just scrub it of, but would that take care of the mold?
note: my tiel is only a few days old since i bouth em, so he's not fully tamed (hell, he's not tame at all, that stubborn little sh**) and his wing was cut badly in a wing clipping accident the pet store made, so how do i help the mold without straining his wing and making it bleed?

I just got my 7 month old declawed (front paws only). I know that sutures get itchy when they are healing, but I've never had a kitten chew at them as much as this one does. He's gotten a couple of his toes a little bit bloody a couple times. My vet suggested using Bitter Yuck spray on them, which I did, but he licks it anyway! I know he won't stand for having little socks or mittens over his paws. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

My cockateil is 4yrs old (only bird) and we've just bought her a nesting box. In the last couple of months my bird has been getting very hissy and (apparently) is flying at people during the day. She has free range of the house and lives in an open pen. Does anyone else have problems with their 4yr olds ? Is this all normal?

I allowed a roommate to move a dog in...I never see him take the dog for walks, never see the dog out of the room... A couple of days ago I went in to his room to turn off a heater he had left going, and discovered that the room was wall to wall dog crap, on wood floors...of course even before I saw it I could smell it the second I opend the door. I have never been so happy in my life to have a door that could contain this smell. What can I do about the floors? the roommate? is this enough to evict him? um on a side note, anyone want a yorkshire terrier?
