Dear God who are you taking advise from. you can cause a very bad tummy ache and dehydration and pain and more. No. Worms need a pill and you can buy from the vet. Worms can kill a dog and get into you and cause you problems too. If it's roundworms they are easier to get rid of, the farm strore may have a pill for that, they need to be wormen every 6 wks. for at least 3-4 times for those and then for tape worms which are harder to get rid of if they have fleas. so, get to the vet or call around one might sell you just the pill for 10-14 bucks if you ask and know the weight. Do it right. I have heard garlic and also brewer's yeast from the health food store helps to prevent reinfeststion when added to the diet. you can also add olive oil to the food for a good preventive after they have been treated correctly for the first several times for roundworms. Good luck.

No, if you think your dog has worms you need to visit the vet with a stool sample--different worms require different medication. Most "soap" is not soap at all, it is detergent, and is poisonous.

those are tapeworms. actual tapeworm segements, there are forms of tapeworms Taenia sp. and so on. they are led to with the help of a canines eating a flea with a tapeworm larval section interior it. The flea digests and the tapeworm is embarked on the canines digestive equipment the position it feeds off of fecal cloth. Segments are intermittently shed as a fashion of reproduction. they could also produce egg packets yet those are difficult to locate even on fecal samples with a microscope. This answer is elementary deduction. Hook worms and whipworms are too small to be conveniently seen with the bare eye and round worms are larger and nicely...round(in many circumstances seem as if spaghetti) Get cestex pill out of your vet and positioned the canines on a flea preventative routine. back they don't seem to be negative to the animals health although.

I've heard that is good for it too but if you think this ideas disgusting you don't have to listen but take a flash light and shine it up its butt and the worms should come out (worms are attracted to light)

I think that is just a rumor. Maybe you should ask your local vet. Maybe you could check into it. It would be an interesting thing to know about. If you are worried about your dog getting worms, you should buy medicine to protect againt it.

NO and ignore Kris55a Garlic is also bad for dogs. Take a stool sample with your dog to the vet and the vet will prescribe the right dewormer for your dog.

oh my god don't do that...go to any pet supply store and pick up a de-wormer, it will be called pyran- with a suffix. Only do this if you are positive that they aren't tape worms. Tape needs to be treated by a vet.

Also, worms are not cured with a pill, it is a liquid

Tape worms are killed with a pill

no soap is not good. The cost of dewormmer is minimal like $5 at walmart. If you can't swing it call you're local animal shelter and see if they know of any charities that will help with costs.
