It will work as long as they don't lick it off. The reason it's said to be applied there is because that's a spot where a cat can't lick itself. Just keep an eye on the two for a couple of hours and it should seep its way into their skin just finely. There may be some oily residue left on the coat but that will go away by tomorrow.

It will work, but not as well as you have hoped. Don't apply it again for another month. Next time, part the fur on the back of the neck, but closer to the head a bit so they can't lick it off their own fur. They will probably start to lick it off each other though, as our cats do.

It stays oily looking for a little while as long as you don't have kids around to touch it. I put my cat in his kennel for an hour after just to be safe. Congratulations on the new Kittys.

You're fine. It'll work. Mine squirm all over the place when I apply the frontline. Just try to get as much directly on their skin as you can.

Yes It will still work, the reason its on the back is so that they will not like it off. next time get some help and try and get it through the fir and on the skin

If seems to have absorbed on neckline or close to - should be okay.

Check them thru out the week, if no relief from fleas/ticks - contact your vet for advice to reapply.

Thanks for caring!
