how do dog breeder's decide which two dogs are best to breed

My cat is only 3 years old and very lazy, I brought her some Catnip spray to go on her toys to encourage play. Unfortunately when she sniffs it she pulls the most awful face, like she is about to throw up. Why is this? Does anyone have any other ideas of how to encourage play?

I switched my 1ft blue channel catfish into a 55 gallon tank from a 20 gallon tank.

Things that have changed-
-35 gallons (obviously)
-Another 2 ft long, 1inch wide and 2inches high.
-Minimal temp difference
-Much less Ammonia
-Much less Nitrite
-Little less Nitrate
-A change of +.5pH.

Will he stand a good chance of living?
He's swimming around fine at the moment, but he has a bit of a cloudy eye, so occasionly he will bump into the sides of the tank, but it's not that bad.

HOw long do Beta fish live. We have one and he's been acting kinda weird. We think he's getting old but i can't find out how long their suppose to live for. He's almost 2years.

He's a Shiba Inu, like a smaller akita. He has a beautiful coat, but he loves to play and dig outside, so he gets to really stink! I've read other answers that say I should give him a bath every six months, but I don't think I could wait that long. I mean he really smells after a month or so.

Okay, viscious dogs you should never look them in the eye. However, you have to keep your eye on them to see if they're coming at you. How would you go about that one? Also, what if you show no signs of fear and it comes after you regardless, is there a reason other than fear a dog would come after you. I'm not on the person's property so it's not guarding anything, it's a stray dog, I'm walking on a street and it happens to see me. Do some dogs just attack people for the hell of it?

My dog is 4 years old and i only got him a few months ago. Before we got him he was nearly starved to death. He keeps going into cupboards and eating things out of them. The other day he went into our understairs cupboard, got into a draw and ate a full christmas cake. Just before he got into the cupboard and ate a tub of gravy granules, 2 pot noodles, a tub of pasta and a box of spagetti. I don't know what to do with him. I understand that he is only doing this as this was his only way to get food at his old home. Any ideas on what to do?

( P.S he knows how to get the lid off a bottle, before i gave him an empty bottle to play with. He didn't try to get into it to get the drops of coke, he just unscrewed the top then went away and lef the bottle!)

Help?!?!?

and they dotn take ther dogs to the vet to get shots
andn i let my dogg down real fast and he jumped on him and i grabbed my puppy real fast picked him up and took him back in the yard and then i grabbed there puppy and then they left so i went back and picked up my dogg...
could my dog get like parvo or worms that fast iim scared im 14 and my puppy is only 10 weeks old..

My husband was given a fish tank, when he told a colleague, we are going to get fish for the children. We take good care of them, keep them clean, etc. We have now lost 9 fish in 14 months, one of them is sick again, she is a fighter, i have revived her twice now, with anti bacterial solution, but she has been sick for 2 days, on her back, gasping, but still here. Our other litle fella, was alive and boisterous this morning, i have just found him dead. This really upsets me, and the children,. I think it is the second hand tank, something harboured in there, could i be right? Our fish are very well looked after, but just keep dying on us. Symptons....upside down, gasping, rapid movements, float to the bottom of the tank, repeats, then dies, please help me here, what is wrong with them?

hey its me again srsly plz help this time.

listen people sayin mean stuff to me this wasnt on purpose and u say i need medication well im already on a ton of it so u can go to hell.

ok last time with chester i told my parents he ran away and they believed it and nothin happend to me so i want the same thing but he just died on his own and i hid him in the furnanc eroom. i dont think bubbles is gonna die but maybe she is i dont know. but if i get grounded i cant go to the next slipnot concert when they come to town so I CAN NOT GET GROUNDED AGAIN! if i go to a vet i will get grounded.

It's gotta be more than just furballs. What can i do? I'm so busy, I can hardly keep up with the cleaning. She's been doing this awhile, but since she's started she's caught a bad case of fleas (Which I cured) which left her badly scarred for a while, and she's also suffered nerve damage from a really powerful flea collar (Which i hadn't made her wera before and will not make her wera again). What's really going on here?

She scratches and bites until she bleeds, her fur is falling out, and her face is turning black. She's miserable and can't sleep.
