Hi Trevor...unfortunately, most medication doesn't taste good even for cats. Cats are clever enough to avoid eating food with medication hidden within even if mashed into dust they'll avoid eating their food. Pilling cats can be difficult even for veterinarians especially with a feisty cat. If you need a little bit of help here's an instructional video by Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine of Feline Health which shows how to pill a cat: http://www.felinevideos.vet.cornell.edu/pill_or_capsule/

wish you got those pills from the vet or you're doing this without outcomes ok, Get your mindset going. you are the boss, cat desires medicine. Be good. do no longer enable him win. lol carry cat firmlly on your lap it quite is roofed with a towel. Open the mouth, via bringing your quit the cat head and putting palms ( those which you have left) interior the aspects of the mouth, and pry open. Drop pills a techniques decrease back into mouth, and stroke throat with the hand that hasn't been mauled previous attractiveness. this could rigidity him to swallow. pass look interior the mirror and supply your self a large pat on the decrease back, and smile considering which you have gained, and your physique can nonetheless function. OR, do what I do,now and lower back, take the cat to the vet and get a wormer shot. ( this is particularly no longer that complicated) do no longer attempt hiding it interior the foodstuff ingredient, cats are too clever for that.

Have you tried dairylea cheese? Most cats seem to accept the worm tablet if you you put it in a small blob of the cheese. Haven't met many cats this doesn't work with

Get some canned food and bury the pill somewhere in the middle of the ration. If the cat spits it out, ground it into powder and sprinkle it into the water bowl.

good question. Did you try putting the meds in some meat or something the cat likes. Cat's are smart though and figure it out quickly.

Just put in in a hot dog, or a piece of chicken. The cat will never know.

they're trying to kill you because they think that YOU are trying to kill THEM!!! you're forcing it down their throat and they wouldn't like prime rib if you tried to shove it down their faces! mis the worming stuff into something you already know they like, put it in their bowl and walk away. just walk away. if this doesn't work, have the vet do it!
