she just had her puppies almost 3 weeks ago (they will be 3 wks old on tuesday) and she keeps on getting up right when the puppies start nursing and going to socialize w/ the family.. does anybody have any suggestions to keep her in with the babies longer?

My cat is 15. About 5 years ago my vet determined that he's allergic to cat food (he was licking all the fur off his belly-poor thing). The only food he tolerates is MediCal Hypoallergenic. I always have crunchies available for him and twice a day he gets about a tablespoon of the canned food.
Lately I have noticed that he doesn't chew his crunchies, so I wonder if it's a dental issue, but I would like to give him something softer. What should I do?

Do you think this is funny? We got a three year old African grey, who was owned before by a really nice lady. But the lady didnt teach her to say anything. So it is the second day that we have had her. And this is what she has done so far. My mom was reading and I was on the computer and Danny AKA:The Bird said "What ya doing?". And after sahe ate breakfast this morning she was making my cellphones ringtone. Then Made our security alarms noise, then all out of the ordinary said "OK". And yestday she was popping noices like my gum and like my moms boyfriend farting . My ringtone is the song "U and Dat" And when it plays she bobs her head up in down. Please tell me that our bird is really smart. NOW I WANT TO HERE ABOUT ALL THE THINGS YOUR PARROT DOES!

I have another wood turtle, Bud, which I've had for over a year now, and he's perfectly healthy and growing. My friend got 2 baby wood turtles from her bfs mom, one died about 3 months later because she said it wouldnt eat, move, and had one swollen shut eye, and then died. The other one, the size of a quarter, is still living, but pretty sick. So I got the surviving one now, and both of it's eyes were closed completely shut when I got it, it's unbelievably skinny, it won't eat/drink, and hardly moves. So I put it in a very small amount of warm water and placed small drops of water over its eyes, and it also ducked its own head under the water, and when it came back up it opened its eyes, and was later running all around. But this morning, its eyes were closed shut again, and its not moving much at all. And I have a heat lamp, so its been warm. But I wont be able to take it to a vet because all the vets around here dont help turtles. Can anyone PLEASE give me info on how to save him???

Everyday my tank has more and more bubbles, they come out from the filter is that normal.

I want to have a pet of my own. I'm looking for something that generally lives in a tank or aquarium. I want something that does not require a TON of attention or detail, just something I can feed on a daily basis and clean once or twice a week. I also would like to have something that live in water but I don't want to be in the norm and have fish. I was looking for something more along the lines of like GHOST SHRIMP or some sort of crab maybe? Any ideas? Thanks for the input....

My Female dog. Humps on my hand. Like she is having sex. I let her hump. will it make her Bad in furture? Will it make her wanting sex all the time? Or will it make her only wanting to have sex with human? Or it is just as normal as eating chicken.

Thank you to everyone that offered their advice. I would just like to clarify that I live in Spain so cannot rely on local charities and organisations as they are already overwhelmed. I have also checked all of my dogs for chips and tried to reunite them with their owners, only one was chipped and the owner has changed his number. The procedure is to take them to the Townhall and leave them there and denounce the owner and wait for a period of about 3 months before I can then 'adopt' the dog legally. In the case of the one that is chipped, she is terminally ill and needs a warm loving home, not to be locked up and held whilst her owner fails to retrieve her. Just yesterday I found a yorkie outside my house and he was cold, wet and had badly matted fur. I took him in, bathed him, cut his hair (his legs were covered with wire and twigs) and fed him and I have found him a new home this morning. I will be taking my possibly pregnant ***** to the vets this week so watch for installment 3!

Greetings! I adopted a kitty in Cairo, Egypt about eight months ago. She is a former street kitty, so even though she's very sweet she's also extremely skittish and easily frightened. The flight, all told, will last about 32 hours- 16 in the air, and 16 in layover. Unfortunately, I cannot change the ticket because it was purchased by a third party. I was just wondering if anybody has any advice!!!
