Maybe try an obedience class. I had a friend with a rottweiler and he bit a small child right in the face. I have never owned one, but I know that they can get quite overprotective. I would see if there is an obedience class and talk to the instructor(s), there may be hope for the dog, and there may not be. Some dogs are just better off for protection, and I think rottweilers can be quite tempremental. It really depends on how much you love the dog. But if you have small kids or they come around your home, I would muzzle it when around children until you can get the problem worked out.

You have to show the dog whos the leader of the pack obviusly its the dog you have to walk your dog everyday on a tight leash and eventually introuduce peoplae and dogs to your dog. DONT let your dog in front of you that shows hes the leader if he is a strong dog use a choke collar if you use it correctly it wont hurt him. to keep him close to you on a walk put the collar instead of the neck on almost the top of the head. It doesnt matter that its a rottwieler its your fault your dogs like that. Remember a dogs for life if you dont walk your dog everyday about 3 miles it will get bored and bite again. Seek professinal help... Thos will not go away with age and i dont think you should kill the dog. if you have to kill it or have to give it away get a friendly dog at a shelter not a puooy if your going to train it the way you did with the rottwieler it doesnt matter what brred it matters how you train it.

if a 6 month old rottweiler is biting hard and everything id take him to a obedience class because rottweiler are the most powerful biting dogs followed by a german shepard then a pitbull so take it to lesson or get it put down or give it away dont keep it like this as if it bite a living thing like a dog the odds are it will do some serious damage

Basically he is teething and like a baby he needs something to take away the hurt. With every dog I have own, and there will be those who will disagree with this, I have given them bones right from the start. Pork chop bones, ham bones,(these really are the best), ect. The ham bones really are great> They are big and last for a spell. It is just logic. Dogs are alot like us, and for the most part they do not like being left alone, alot. Puppies are just like toddlers you have to keep a watch on them. Rottys make good companions if you give a lot of love, which is what any of us really want. Be good to your Rotty and he will be good to you.

Not familar with that dog, but the same happened with a red nose pit bull my cousin had , extremely hyper jumping and aggressive, especially if you tease the dog with any object. I would not have the animal put to sleep, they can turn on you quickly, I experienced that only because she was teesed alot and jump up and scratched my arm deep enough were the blood flowed out, lucky for me I had a tetanus shot months prior to his owning, I don't put my face in front of any animal of that breed.

The dog seems smarter then you. A Rottwieler bites. THat is what it is for. It is not a breed to have as a pet. It does not prove how cool or macho you are. Give it to a humane society. Then get a lizard. You could probably handle that.
