My cat is 15. About 5 years ago my vet determined that he's allergic to cat food (he was licking all the fur off his belly-poor thing). The only food he tolerates is MediCal Hypoallergenic. I always have crunchies available for him and twice a day he gets about a tablespoon of the canned food.
Lately I have noticed that he doesn't chew his crunchies, so I wonder if it's a dental issue, but I would like to give him something softer. What should I do?

You could probably add some water to his food to soften it up.

You should go to the ur vet clinic and ask him/her what they reccomend. Any pet food bought from a grocery store or a store like wal-mart, is not good quality food. Its very fattening. I know a lot of you would disagree, but I just finished a pet nutrition course. I learned a whole lot. Vet diets are the very best for any pet!

I have always thought that a lifelong nourishment based on artificial food gets the hold of any living being. I give my 13 year old cat boiled fish. She loves it and it's not that hard to cook. I strongly believe that if we enjoy the company of animals, we should make them their meals as human as possible.

I feed my cat Innova Evo and Wellness - it's about as natural as you can get.

Also, you can get **** Van Patten (the dad from 8 is enough) natural balance - I think his food is green peas and vension for the kitty with allergies.
