I had that issue! I had close to 20, adopted 7, and am trying to find homes for the rest! I set up a website dedicated to getting the rest into homes with a StreetCatCam with live streaming video of the kitties needing homes 24 hours a day and it also has little video clips of the kitties. It's called http://www.kittiesinthehood.com
Yahoo shut it down last week, apparently because people complained about my posts here.and I lost every email I ever got related to the site and I was devestated cause I lost all the details for all the potential adopters. I'm not selling the cats & not even selling advertising. I spent 3 days and just got it up & running again. I'm paying for the desexing etc myself and took a few months off work for the project and can't afford any more, so I'm not happy that it was shut down?? Are you? Can you help me? The kitties are in Australia, but I'm moving overseas really soon. Please don't post about diseases, they've all been to the vet

Sometimes my kitty just runs all around my bedroom, like really fast. I think she's scared of seeing her reflection. I just got her out of the pound today because there was a feline distemper outbreak. What's wrong with my cat?

My female American Pit dug her way out of her kennel while in heat. This is not a case of poor ownership so spare me your "get her spayed" advice and comments. I want to find good HOMES for her pups. Animal control and the dog pound is NOT an option! As she is pure breed and thought to mate with a labador retriever.

I hope somone will want her pups.

Does anyone know a good website that allows a person to GIVE free pups to a good home? They are well fed, good natured and beautiful dogs.

Please respond ASAP.

She likes water a lot, but mostly for playing. Today she swam for the first time, but I was terrified. I encouraged her to go get her ball and she did it for me, only, but you could tell she was a little afraid to swim.

I hit a dog with my car tonight....it was oviously an accident...i slammed on my breaks and it was too late. i ran to the house and told them... i feel absolutly horrible... i called them 2 hours later to see how the dog was and if it was okay. and all the owners said was "HES FINE & DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT". but i have a gut feeling they sh** him or something because i don't think he would be fine after 2 hours...maybe they just wanted to be nice and not tell me he died??/ somebody please make me feel better!~

where do you find "cuter" collars for your dog. i have looked at the selection of collars at petsmart & petco, but they just stink. i want something more glam & cute for my female dog. i don't want to spend more than $100 on a collar either. it is for a larger dog, so i need something sturdy, too.

any suggestions?

Six months ago I bought a Toy "long haired" Chihuahua for $250. He weighs about a pound at 1 year old. The previous owner used a razor, ( a pair of hair cutting shears to groom him) to give him that poofy thing like a mini poodle?

The problem is that they scrapped his skin leaving something like a razor burn on his rear and tail. I was hoping his hair would grow back? It hasn't........the VET told me that it would and to just wait and see what happens?

It has been 6 months and he has gapped hair, scally skin. And is quite the ragamuffin...

Is there anything I can do for him? To get his hair to come back like it should? I have used Neosporin on his tail. And that ScratchAid for hot spots.

He also has potty training issues. He pees and poops everywhere! He nips and bites at me. He is un-responsive to handling.

Please help him..............

When I turn him over on his back and hold him he is fine. He always wants on the couch and my husband lets him. Granted we have only had him for two days... Is this a start to bad behavior or just puppy behavior? Any suggestions?

everytime my kitten bites me too hard, especially when she thinks i want to play, but im really just turning the pages of my book or just combing thorugh my hair or just flipping the remote, she jumps on my hand and bites terribly hard. i tried pushing my finger down on her tongue, but this seems to irritate her more and then she btes down on my hand even harder and more violently. so, everytime she bties me hard now, i clap my hands and shout in her face, she backs down and looks scared. then she cools for about.. ten seconds. and sometimes repeats biting my hand again. if she does it again, i clap my hands and shout and put her in my room for a TIME OUT. after about ten minnutes or fifteen, i let her out, but totally ignore her for about an hour or so. am i doing the right thing to stop her from biting?? if so, why does it seem not to be working? she does it almost everyday. and i get so tired of putting her away anf bringing her out. i am sometimes afraid of sleeping with her!

Today i gave him twice the amount of food he usually gets, since me and my parents decided to change the amount of food he gets, since he was always hungry. So i just gave him twice as much as he is used to and now he is yelping and "crying". Its scary because hes spinning in circle and not stopping, and i think something is hurting him. Did i do anything bad to him, that could like harm him?

We have her for about.. 2 weeks nows. The first night was rough.. she was very scared and hated her crate and wanted out. After a few nights when the lights went out, she ran in and went to sleep. The following weeks she would go to sleep before we turned off anylights. But tonight she is refusing to go to sleep, and barks and howls when we try to put her in there (Which is hard because she refuses!)

She hasn't napped at all today, and about 1 hour ago she was dosing off, so whats up with this sudden burst of energy?

She wants a female, I want a male, we aren't going to mate them, just have two good behaved dogs, are there any larger dogs that would not eat a yorky? Or which dog would be best to raise with?

I have currently got 3 other dogs: Leah a 3 year old Afghan Hound, Zoe a 1 year old Dalmatian and Mia a 5 year old Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever.
I have had all my dogs sinse they were 8 weeks old and I am very committed to each of their needs.
I have not shaved Leah's long coat at all, I am very committed to keeping it long. I groom all of my dogs frequently and walk them for 40 minutes in the morning, an hour in the afternoon (45 mins of that walk is off the leash at a park) and sometimes 20-40 minutes at night before bed time.
I am VERY active, I take all of my dogs to the beach when I have a day off on a nice day, I enjoy long walks (sometimes I walk for maybe 2 hours in the morning etc.).
I have trained all of my dogs very well. I have had no trouble with either dog escaping my property.. etc.

I would like to get another pup but wouldn't over rule any possibilities of getting a rescue dog.

Breed suggestions are great.
