You need to take a stool sample from both cats to the vet. There are several types of worms that kittens are actually born with. The vet will examine the stool under the microscope and give you the proper medication in the strength appropriate for each cat and you can administer it simultaneously.
Yes, worms are communicable in cats, from using a mutual litterbox and from mutual grooming. In fact, cats should have a fecal analysis once a year. Even if they don't go outdoors, you would be surprised at what you can carry in on your shoes.

IT"S best to get wormer for all kittens regularly. Round worms and hook worms are common at an early age and throughout life. They are usually treated with a parentel pamoate (Strongid, or Nemix). Tapeworms are treated with Droncit (usually prescribed by a vet) symtoms are rice or seseme seed segments in the stools or near the anus.
Yes one cat can get worms from another of certain types, but some types must have a secondary carrier. Regular wormings are advisable for any cat that goes outdoors, and intermittantly even for totally indoor cats.

If the other cat has worms, then chances are that yours will too now. Even if your cat doesn't now, it probably will soon so I would advise getting some all-rounder medication from your local vet, and giving it to both cats for a while.

Hartz makes wormer for cats. that's in liquid type and is offered alongside with the cat food and toys at WalMart. It expenses approximately six greenbacks a bottle. One teaspoon the next day, one ten days from the next day, and then as quickly as a month, your kitty would be laptop virus loose. do no longer undertaking approximately oding the cat. you will no longer. the drugs is risk-free adequate, it in basic terms particularly cleanses out their digestive device, and leaves them laptop virus loose.

YES THEY ARE VERY TRANSMITTABLE SO YOU NEED TO GET A GOOD WORMER FROM VET AND WORM THEM BOTH AND KEEP THE LITTER BOX CLEAN AT ALL TIMES WHILE TREATING THEM BECAUSE THEY GET WORMS FROM FECES AND FLEAS SO YOU MAY HAVE TO TREAT THEM BOTH FOR FLEAS, AND GIVE THEM A GOOD BATH BEFORE TREATING THEM. HOPE I HELPED.

If the worms are roundworms, small, white & look like rice & you see them around the cats booty, if your other cat licks her booty... well the other cat will ingest them. Take both to the vet & get dewormming, its not expensive. Good Luck!!
