When you hear someone say their dogs in heat that means the dog is having her period. This is when dogs can get pregnant. When the female dog is spaded (fixed) she no longer can have puppies or has a period.

Not all dogs do. A lot of female dogs get their "period" (aka spotting) to show you they are in heat. This lasts for about a week then it stops, It can be light or heavy, some females don't even get it. Being in heat lasts about a month but the spotting only for the first week of it.

Female dogs go into HEAT. And the scent they give off attracts unneutered male dogs for miles around. If you own a female dog get her spade. It will prevent unwanted pregnancies, keep her from wandering and prevent all kinds of cancers and diseases.

yes they do and they will get their first heat at the age of 6-8 months and then it will last for about 3 weeks, so when that happens you need to keep her away from any males and keep her in your sights till she comes out of her heat. if you keep an eye on her and you put her out side, all males will smell her and try to get to her and then they might beable to mate with her. they get their heat every 6 months and will last 3 weeks. good luck

Yes they do. It is called heat. I dont reccomend baby diapers. You can buy doggie pads at your local petstore.

yes totally... i think putting a baby diaper with a hole for the tail is a good idea. if she will keep it on.....they do start to smell kinda when they get their period.....
