Today i gave him twice the amount of food he usually gets, since me and my parents decided to change the amount of food he gets, since he was always hungry. So i just gave him twice as much as he is used to and now he is yelping and "crying". Its scary because hes spinning in circle and not stopping, and i think something is hurting him. Did i do anything bad to him, that could like harm him?

He stopped 10 minutes later... is it still life threatening or no?

I don't think you necessarily did anything bad to him, I just think he over ate a bit, he's probably just got a tummy ache! I'd recommend just keeping an eye on him for a couple of days just to make sure he's feeling better. But I think the poor guy's got a tummy ache! Good luck!

If your dog is yelping or crying don't think about it do it get him to the vet right away as something might be scaring him. When you feed your dog you go by the package directions and your vet to make sure he is at the right weight for the breed. Dogs have an apetite that never stops and you will have the dog overweight and die young. Get that baby checked out

Call your Vet or a Vet now. Sometimes a dog can over eat and get diarrhea or upset stomach, but because he is circling and yelping it could be something life threatening that needs to be addressed now. Your Vet or an Emergency room Vet should be able to talk to you and determine if your dog needs to see them on an emergency basis.
You didn't mean it I know. It is something that can easily happen but get the dog help now.

You should feed your dog the amount that the bag says to feed. Of course he's going to beg, cause he knows that you will give him the food. He wont stop eating cause he cant control him. Its not healthy for humans to be overweight, so why would you alow your dog. You wouldnt cram all this fatty unhealthy food down a person w/out their knowledge.

Yeah hes yelping and crying cause he is prob over weight. You need to back him off the food and take him to the vet. If you overfeed him, He will die.

Im certainly not a vet, but I don't think you did anything wrong. I've had dogs all my life and have never seen or heard of a dog getting hurt by eating too much. But maybe if that is the case, it will go away soon, like when you eat too much and your stomach hurts?? Maybe its something else thats bothering him. I know this isn't much help, but good luck and I hope your dog feels better soon!

It might not have to do with the amount of food he ate. If you are giong to up his food dosage, you should not double it. Dogs are ALWAYS hungry and can ALWAYS eat. You could give him a small portion later in the day if he's whining about it. But, let me ask you a question, do you get nuts when you eat too much? I don't. You should take him to get him checked out/call your local vet.

When was the last time you had you dog wormed? Sometimes worms can make a dog more hungry. You can purchase monthy worming tablets at most department stores like Walmart or Kmart; or a farm supply store. It's not good to over feed any animal.

Also, for stomach/digestion problems; let him eat yogurt, NOT the nonfat kind. My dog loves yogurt :-)

Take him to the vet. Go IMMEDIATELY. Sometimes when dogs eat too much too fast, their intestines get twisted around, and that sounds like the symptoms of it. If that is what happened, it is a LIFE-THREATENING CONDITION. Don't wait to see if it gets better, the sooner it's treated the better the dog's chance of surviving.

Instead of giving him twice as much in one feeding, feed him the usual amount twice a day. If the food was his problem he'd be throwing up. Sounds like something was or had bit him. Or maybe he's just kookie like my dog, she watches shadows on the walls for hours......

I would think that if your dog over ate..it would simply vomit...I have a boxer who eats too much too fast and I have to put her out because when she burps..she pukes...especially water..so feed the dog more frequently...in the amount that she is comfortable with...thats what I have to do...and she is very well fed.
