Would you neuter anyway? Please Read Carefully?

About two months ago, the neighbors across the street had an electrical fire in their house. They asked me to keep their cat until the repairs are done. They are living in an apt. where they can't have a pet. They don't come to visit the cat, have provided nothing towards its care, etc. I love cats, so I don't mind and he is a nice cat. Only problem is he is about 7 months old and not neutered. I have no way to contact them. I am afraid this cat may start to spray. My guys are all spayed & neutered, so not worried about kittens, but I wonder if I can get the cat neutered without their permission. There is no licensing, etc. in our area, so I guess possession is 9/10ths of the law. They are kind of weird, and, when they got the kitten I mentioned that a male was cheaper to neuter, and he got all bent out of shape about neutering males. If you were me, would you neuter this cat and not care what they thought? He's not a purebred, so they won't be breeding for profit.

Q1: How many timez should I give my kitty a bath? remember it'z cold outside now, n'I'm worried my cat might catch a cold!

How do I know?

I've learned that cats purr for other reasons other than happiness, such as nervousness. So if my cat cuddles with me and purrs, how do I know if he doesn't mind the petting or if he's saying: "I like cuddling with you, but i don't like the petting, but I don't want to fight."

Can this kill a dog?

If you shine a flashlight on the ground, and a dog starts chasing it, can it kill them? I personally don't think it can, but two of my neighbors seem to think that it can cause brain damage or a heart attack. However, I tried this out with a dog last night, and she seemed to be enjoying it. Please help!

How should I punish my puppy for pottying in the house?

I am crate training my almost 4 month-old golden retriever. he has never had an accident inside his crate and waits for me to take him outside to do his business. every morning and after each feeding when I let him out, he follows me to the front door and goes outside to potty. but when i let him play in the living room for a little while, he'll just randomly go pee or poop again on the carpet. My friend had a dog and she advised that i stick his nose in the mess so he can smell it, then spank his butt with a newspaper. That way he sees that its the newspaper hitting him and not my hand. I thought this was kinda mean but anyway, any suggestions without being physical?

Am i to big for my beloved pony?

im in 4h with my 14 year old morgan pony and a lot of people tell me that im to big for her. she is an angel when i ride her she dosnt throgh me just gets an attitude somtimes just because shes a mare. well what i want to know is if im to big for her. she is about 14.0 hands tall and im 5.2 feet tall. if im not to big right now how long do you think i will fit o her,im only in gradeschool and still growing. shes a realy well fit horse and pretty big boned but compact and small. i need an answer soon its so hard to keep riding her and not knowing if im to big or ok.

my dog had some milk! Will he get sick?

OMG! My baby, I gave him milk, because he had an upset tummy, and vomitted a little. So I poured some milk in a little bowl (not a lot, just like less than half the bowl) and he drank it all up. He loved it. I thought it would help his tummy. Now he just lying next to me in a little ball. Will he be sick, because of the milk?!

oh gosh, should I call the vet? I told my friend, and she said dogs are not supposed to have milk! I put my ear on his little belly, and it's NOT gurgling or anything.
