Ive been riding since I was 7, im 28 nearly 29 now. I absolutly adore horses but I need your help. Early this year I had a nasty fall which although neither myself nor the horse was injured we both came down together quite hard. I never thought i would find myself in this situation but I feel ive lost my confidence!!! I love a challenge and i usually ride Arabs. Does anyone know of a riding stable anywhere not too far away from Chatham which maybe able to help me please. Im looking for private lessons purely to regain my confidence so i can get back out there and enjoy riding again.

Thankyou for your time

both dogs are very loving and excellent in everyway, the only reason i have had to make this decission is due to ill health. i have have the mother since she was 7 weeks old and she is now nine and her daughter is five. they love children and are very good with everyone. nice calm dogs. if anyone can help me with this hard choice i would be most grateful. i live in west sussex. i have to go into hospital for a couple of days but because i have fragile bones. i have made this choice.they must be someone who could give them both a loving home

Any time someone comes close to him ( a stranger, or someone he rarely sees) he will pee all over them if they pick him up....it's gotten pretty embarrassing, lots of ppl pick him up and want to pet him because he's so cute and all...not to brag or anything, lol. :)

He is a 3 and a half month old pug..and he isn't SCARED of ppl, he LOVES ppl..he goes crazy and will lick you bunches and doesn't seem to be scared or anything. Why does he do it though?

For the past year I have been helping my friend look after his horses, and i've been getting used to being around them and feel comfortable. I've been riding for about 9 months now, and feel ready to get my own horse. Which breed do you reccomend?

My horse will only be a pet, I am not interested in showing, breeding or competing in any way. I love to ride, but I need a horse that has a nice mild temperment that I can love and look after.

I need a horse that would be almost suitable for a child (thats what I mean when I say i'd like one with a nice kind temperment!). I know to go on the personality of the horse rather than the breed, but through experience, what breed would you reccomend? I'm an 18 year old girl, 5'4, 135lbs and live in ENGLAND!

Thanks in advance!

i have two male pits aged 2yrs and the other is 18 months both live together. they are generally well behaved but they frequently fight with each other. would getting the older pit fixed reduce the risk of the pair of them fighting with each other, as he seems to be more aggressive of the two.

The day before Thanksgiving our 2 1/2 year old Lab was killed after being hit by a car. The worst thing about all of this is he was finally losing much of his hyperness and turning into a great family pet.

On to my question. We have found some Lab/Golden puppies and would really like to get one but I am wondering if the mixed breed is as highly strung as a pure bred lab. The first 2 years with this Lab where very trying for me as he was very hard headed and hyper. It also didn't help that this was the first dog I have ever owned and knew nothing about how to train a dog but the last few months of haveing him he was really coming along. I have told my wife that I will never get a Lab puppy again but would love to have another dog. I am thinking that since I now have more of a clue on how to train a dog that it will be easier this time but just hate to go through another 2 years of haveing a hard to deal with dog.

i have a busybody who happens to be my boyfriends mom. i want to give the dog a bath in the tub its not her home its his. you put a drain catcher so the hair dont go down the drain. then after you scour the tub and alcohol the tub for sanitary reasons. i had a dog buisness for 18 years and had the proper equipment. but its now closed so she said its not right to do this. frankly its worse to wash it outside in the cold, plus the animal does not get properly clean. how do you feel about this? remember the tub will be cleaned and sanitized afterwards.

Okay, people may not agree with this, but becuase i bought (yes bought, becuase its a pedigree cat.) my male a year and a half ago, and he's a house cat, i decided to buy him a female companion (and again, yes Buy) ... They've been together 2 weeks, at first i thought they'd be vicious, or it'd lead to the male abusing the female kitten.

But this is entirely not the case -_-
The male cat cleans her like a mother cat, and honestly half the time has to sleep ontop of the tv to get away from her... when i feed the male cat, the female kitten pushes him away from this own foodbowl, and constantly follows him around, trying to bite her legs and his tail... Is this normal? or is my male cat queer or something? -_-

Plus one thing i've noticed is the female kitten has black bits in her fur, now we know she has flea's, and since we got her, the flea collars have worked tremendously, but theres black bits in her fur, are they flea eggs, or dirt caused by lack of grooming?

I have just been watching TV and my dog has been playing with a spare pillow (one which is for him) i noticed he started humping the pillow, i didn't think much of this because he was castrated the 1st week in October, then all of a sudden i heard a loud spirt only to realise my dog had done the business. how shocked was i. Please is this normal. HELP!!!!

What would be the best dog for a boy of 9 who has been frightened by a friends large dog? Also, what kind of reading/video's can be purchased to help make this decision. We are planning on going to a shelter to rescue a dog.
