Actually, there is no such a thing as a purebreed. Its a scientific fact, there is not one dog or human on earth that is 100% Pure Blood.
Now if a man or a woman that you pay money to says Yes this is a purebread dog, and no, that one is not. Well, you can believe what you want to believe. Doesnt make it any more of a fact even if the dog gets a shiny $20 trophy.
So I obviously have a mutt, best dadgum mutt that ever was and better than any other dog that ever lived.

I have a mutt. I love him to death. He has springer spaniel/english setter/who knows what else bloodline. Sometimes its a little aggervating not knowing what I can "expect" because I don't know his breed line, but I trade that lack of knowledge for the fact that I saved him from possible uthanization (spelling). *wants to get on a soap box about adoption, both for mixed breeds and purebreeds, but will not*

I've got 3 month old cockapoo. The beautiful sad eyes of a cocker spaniel and the non shed coat of a poodle. Wonderfully smart and cute.

FYI: No 'whatever-a-poo' is purebred - they are mixed breeds by definition. Nor are they instantly hypoallergenic, shed-free or genetically healthy, these are all myths perpetuated by their backyard breeders -it's called 'marketing' to gullible people. I have a designer mutt. (one that is purposely cross-bred for a better dog) and he's a schnoodle (part mini-schauzer, part toy poodle) and he's the cutest dog ever! And he doesn't shed hair. Bounus!
