Could be allergies. Have you changed her food or litter recently?

uh the first rule of thumb is if your cat is sneezing only 2-5 times a day that's fine...it may be due to dust or pollen in the air. If he/she starts sneezing about 15-20+ times a day...i would go to the vet. Cats can suffer from Upper Respiratory Infections and are highly contagious to other cats. You will also notice a gooey, runny nose or runny eyes, as well as the sneezing. If your cat starts this bring him to a vet to be treated with antibiotics. Goodluck!

She could have an upper resperatory infection - this is like a cold to us. It affects cats the same way, they will sneeze and sometimes have a drainage from the eyes. The major issue with this in cats is that they can die from this if they are very young because the mucus in their nose will not allow them to smell their food. A cat that can't smell it's food will not eat it and will starve to death. I have lost quite a few cats and kittens in my day due to this, but recently, I have found a way to cure them IF I can catch it in time.
Go to your local Tractor Supply store and buy a 5 dollar pouch of and animal antibiotic called Teremycin, and put in her water as directed. Also, go to the store and get some canned kitty food, and when you prepare her meal, add some dry cat food to it, a small amount of Teremycin, and then heat it in a microwave safe bowl for about 30 to 40 seconds. Stir it very well before you give it to her, but the warmth of the food will open her nose enough to smell it - she should go to town on the stuff.
If she has gotten bad, and doesn't show an interest in the food, go back to the store, get yourself a syrenge for babies, in the pet section, some of the baby cat milk, and in the babyfood section some stage 1 or 2 baby food. Cats are meat eaters, so make sure its something like turkey or chicken in gravy and stuff, no veggies. You will need to mix it up all together with a bit of Teremycin, dilute the kitty milk a bit, she doesn't need it exactly like it says cause she's not a baby, and you may need to make her eat it with the syrenge at first, and then after a few times, offer her the bowl.
You will want to keep her dry cat food available at all times and make sure that the only water she has access too has the antibiotics in it. When you notice that she is eating her kitty food on her own, you can put away all of the special things and return her water to normal.
One last note, this can last for weeks sometimes, and Teremycin does best in the water for about 1 to 2 days. when the water turns a darker yellow than it was in the beginning, change it and put more Teremycin in it till your kitty is all better.

It could be anything from an allergy to a cold to a tumor of the nasal passages. Please visit your vet for a correct diagnosis.
This is a website often filled with undereducated children who will guess at anything, so for the most part, animal advice on here is nothing more than guessing.
Take your cat to the vet so that someone with a veterinary degree can see your cat, run the proper tests, and give you an accurate diagnosis.

That happened to my cat...However her nose was blocked up and she couldn't breathe through it and snot used to come out. It lasted for years. Temporary relief was gained by going to the vet and getting pills for it. She also had an operation to see if she has something called a pollop or something like that trapped in her throat but she didn't and the sneezing continued.

the two one in all my cats caught a chilly some months in the past. i became somewhat in contact because of the fact they're indoor cats and that i could no longer think of the place they could have caught a chilly from, yet I spoke with my vet and apparently you could delivery contagions into the homestead from the exterior. many times, from something you stepped in or touched that your cat is presented in touch with. it may additionally be hypersensitive reactions, inspite of the undeniable fact that it sounds extra like a chilly. which you need to to take her to the vet for a checkup. otherwise, i might supply it some days and notice if she gets extra useful on her very own. If she's eating and eating this is a good sign. As consistently, make particular she has a lot of water (drinks help a chilly). good success.

Take her back to the vet because she probably has an upper respiratory infection. One of my cats started to sneeze all of a sudden and my mom got worried. She took the cat into the vet and she said that she had a URI. My mom got meds for her and it cleared up. Hope this helps and hope your cat gets better!

I would think your cat has a cold. Let her stay in and if it gets much worse (influenza) take her back to the vet. Good luck

Try asking your vet about Cat Flu. Aslo she could be sensitive to something, for example have you changed any household freshener etc lately?
