i went to this store and bought a dawarf hamster but forgot to ask how old he was how can i tell

Take it to the vet. Maybe they could tell you.

not to say this will help because I don't know what store you got him from, but at petco, all of our hamsters are between 3-6 months of age. I know this is the ideal age for selling as they are more sociable and they sell so quickly, they don't have time to age alot in the store. Call the store though, they might be able to give you an idea of how old he is.

First look at their teeth. Are they longer than normal? That is the sign or an older hamster. Then are the chubby? Chubbier hamsters are usually younger. If that doesn't tell, get in touch with the previous owner and ask them for it's birthdate.

I really don't know any other way to find out the age other than to say take it to the vet. If it ever goes for like a "check up" or something then just ask out of curiosity how old THEY think it is.

I have one and they usually give them away at the age of 4 to 6 weeks. U will have lot s of fun watching him. But be sure u feed him the right food!!!!! There is special food for them.

I can't really help you with this question, but if you don't mind waiting awhile you could see if it grows a lot during a month or to. Actually,just go ask a vet.

ummmmm. i'm not entirely sure, but you could go back too the store and ask. they should remember. take him too the vet and ask, or you could always wait till it dies and then subtract how many years you had him from how many years hamsters usually live...

count how many pubes he has minus 3 add 4 divided by 2 n thats his age

By the lines on its face. If none, try pairing it. If no mounting, you can be sure he´s old.
