my puppy is about 5 months old she is a pitbull and she has been losing teeth like crazy and i kind never find them will today she had something in her mouth and i thought she got something off of the floor or something so i looked in there and i couldnt find anything and the way she was chewing it looked like she was chewing gum so i got my boyfriend to help me hold her mouth open and one of her back teeth was hanging off so i tryed to yank it out but i couldnt because she is like me baby but when we were doing that it just fell out so i was trying to find it in her mouth but i couldnt so i just thought she swallowed it than i heard a crunch crunh and i guess she broke her tooth in half and swallowed it will that hurt her should i look for it in her poppy

is it safe for me to take a Q-tip and just clean then outer part of my cat's ears.. because it gets dirrty and gross. is that healthy when his ears are like that? he's a house cat and I dont understand why they get dirty

I was trying to keep my female alone as I had plans to get her fixed but she was just "locked" up with a male for about half an hour. I am not even really sure that she was in heat. She had been spotting just a little but just had a litter of puppies three months ago. She screamed and fought the whole time. When they finially unlocked she fell to the ground exhausted and bleeding. It took her a while but she is walking around some but very carefully. She did drink some water. She bled a lot but it seems to be slowing down. Is this normal? I don't have any experience with this at all! I am so upset about this!

My new puppy was diagnosed with kennel cough and they put her on this pill. Still she is coughing ALL night long and its depressing. Is that normal for her to be coughing that much? SHe has been on her medications for about three days. Ive also been told cough syrup is good too. But should I use both?

My parents have a large backyard where they're growing many vegetables. They have a major pest problem, mostly gophers. We've had cats in the past and they were instrumental in keeping the pest problem under control. My parents want to adopt two cats who will be living outdoors. They are planning on going to the humane society to adopt but would like to know how old the cats should be and what genders.

It would be so helpful if someone who has knowledge about outdoor cats could share their advice about this. I have heard it is best to get feral females. Would I ask the humane society specifically for feral cats when I go there?

Okay i have 4 pits, the oldest 3 were on a heavy chain ( no i dont fight them nor abuse) for short periods and treadmill workouts for muscle build they're now 80+ each, it worked wonders. but the youngest(1yr.) hasn't grown much since september he's about 60lbs. I'm pushin' for 80+ for the annual show in our town for best bully. any suggestions for a quicker muscle build....and does NuVet really help? and please dont come with im trying to fight my dogs or im cruel because of the chain.

I am interested in getting a German Shepard puppy. Can someone please provide me with a good website or link to a good website on pure breed German Shepards? I know German Shepards have been know to be mixed with other breeds, undermining thier quality and I'm looking for a good pure breed German Shepard. Also if you may know the answer to this how much might I be expected to pay for one preferably male.

My dog Sassy just gave birth to her first litter. THEY ARE SO CUTE! They haven't opened their eyes yet, but my mom says if there is a chocolate lab with blue eyes i can keep it. There are 6 chocolate. If you could think of a good name that follows the following flow- SaMMy SaSSy. Starts with S, vowel, double letter y. My 7 yr old Gypsy mare (draft) has poor frogs and soles. Her hoof wall is fine, thanks to biotin, but I need to work on her undersides. Every definition I see of thrush includes a horrible strong stench and black pus. Chynna's feet are just rotting away in parts, especially in the V and the middle of her frog. I can pull out chunks of white and black shredded something from that area. The area around her hoof has it occasionally, but not that bad. I have never smelt an abnormal odor or seen pus. She is prone to hoof abcesses (usually from knocking her feet on rocks) and is barefoot. She is in clean conditions. Stalled at night, cleaned every morning, and in a mostly sand pasture during the day, Is this thrush? I have heard of the success of thrush buster but don't want to buy it unless she has thrush.
