When my dog was a puppy he took my lip liner pencil chewed it up and eat about half. I called a 24hr emergency vet line. They charged 85$ per emergency call but they told me to give him canned pumpkin. The pumpkin surrounds the sharp object so it doesn't damage their insides on its way out (and they said the make- up is non toxic so only the broken wood was their concern) It is not suggested for poisons because they can be absorbed. I don't think you need to worry about a tooth it should go though ok.
I now always keep pumpkin on hand ( and your better off stocking up in the fall its easier to find) it has come in handy w/ puppies. hope this helps.

HI Emma, Check her poo in 3 days and she will have a surprise for you. Swallowing her baby teeth won't hurt her. When me and my 2 brothers were growing up, my baby brother put a nickel in his mouth and sure enough it was in his poo 3 days later. She will be find.

The tooth will probably be dissolved by stomach acids and you won't even see it pass - no worries, even humans have been known to swallow their own tooth without harm. :)

It happens quite often. The teeth don't seem to be strong enough to stand up to the dogs stomach acid and so pass without any problems.

My pup swallowed all of her teeth but two that I found on the carpet. That's normal.

Your pup should be fine. They swallow baby teeth all the time. If you notice blood in her stool or she seems in pain and just not herself then contact the vet. It should pass in her stool within 3 days.

Yes, she will be fine. My puppy...(who is now 2) eats everything from rocks to sticks to anything the kids drop on the floor.

As long as she's not choking. She'll probably pass it in a day or so. Not to worry.

It's totally normal for them to eat their baby teeth. Rarely do you find them to keep.
