He is offering you food. He thinks you are his mate, or some reaction between seeing a new bird and the safety of you. One of my cockatiels regurged for me a couple times. I just use a spray bottle, I have no clue what you could use for a turkey though, to discourage it, and she quit.

a small caliber pistol or rifle can be used. this tom is sick so do the right thing by putting him out of his misery.this tom may have a disease and it is quite possible the bird flu. take him to your vet to be sure.
