I am a newlywed and my husband said that my cat has to go if he keeps pooping in the bathtub. My cat is a little over a year old. We have another cat and a dog that my cat wasn't around before but he was around other animals before I was married and lived with my husband. My cat is a flame point male neutered declawed siamese and he is my "baby". I don't want to find him a new home. His box is changed regularly and I have tried different litters, two boxes, taking the lid off, etc. When he is shut out of the bathroom, he goes right outside his box on the floor but he pees in the box always. HELP!!!!!!

My puppy gets this high pitched bark when he gets scared... it's actually pretty adorable. Then his regular low pitched GRRR barking when he is angry or in protection mode, even though he's not capable of hurting a fly!!! Why is this?

My Quarter horse Josie, ever since she got pregnant (which was 2 years ago now) she has been overweight. I'm talking FAT.. i went to ride her the other day, and i could barely geta saddle on, her neck is like 3 feet thick which IS NOT normal. She looks like a bulldog. My dad is just stupid and doesnt think anything is wrong with "his" horse as he says, so he wont take her off pasture, because then that would cost him money to feed her substitutes. I try to ride her as much as i can, but she keeps getting fatter. I dont know whats the deal because the other horses that are turned out with her all the time are of good size and aren't overweight.. WHAT'S THE PROBLEM..??

I only ask because I was in a store that had some for sale and I asked the clerk if they bite and she told me it just feels like a kitten nibbling on you. I have never had a ferret so I was wondering if this is true or not.

My 10 month old lab can't control herself when company comes over. She gets really excited and just doesn't behave. She's a doll when people she is very familiar with is around, but when it comes to anyone else, shes a manic. How do I get her to be a pleasure instead of a pest?

For a long time I thought he was a Shepard/Chow mix but now I do not think this to be true. I know that his markings are definately shepard. But I cant figure out the second breed...mostly because of his ears. They are floppy not like a shepard or a chow whos ears stick up. So I have now been thinking that he is a shepard/retriver mix... What do you think???

Hi, I notice that there have been a few questions on here about deaf dogs but all are resolved now. I have an adult deaf dog who is the best dog ever. I have had a great time training and living with him. I have a 12 week old deaf Australian Stumpy Tail Cattle Dog puppy at the moment looking for a good home. I have successfully placed other deaf puppies with wonderful, loving homes. My question is, does anybody know of anyone who would like a beautiful deaf puppy? He is registered, chipped, vaccinated and is a blue male with a gentle, affectionate nature. He is available to an approved home for the cost of transport only. Thanks. Sarah

I had to take care of my mom for over a month because she had surgery. She stayed here at my house with her little JRT. My mom went home Sunday. Now my Pug, Sandy won't hardly eat or drink. Is this because she misses the other dog and my Mom? She eats her treats when I give them to her, but she just nibbles at her food. The only time I give her treats is when she goes to potty, and that's like maybe 4 times a day.

I had a 5 inch (male) blood parrot and decided to get him a girlfriend who is about half jis size. 55 gallon tank -only these two inhabitants.
First couple of days they looked happy. They dug together and everything was cool.
BUT NOW, he charges her. She hides, he bullies her, doesnt let her eat. She runs and then looks exhausted.
Now she has developed black coloring on tips of fins on top. She also has a dark spot where her genitals are. He looks more proud. But he pushes her and Im concerned.
Fighting or mating?

Someone suggested putting a wire around my pond to prevent the Geese from entering and leaving the water. Will the fence work? Will the Geese ignore the fence and fly in and out of the pond or will they fly off and find a new pond? What do you think? Think like a Goose.

When I first brought them home they were good. They slept when i slept and played during the day, then all of a sudden their scheduals became reversed causing me to lose a lot of sleep. I need to figure something out becuase I'm feeling like I should get rid of one of the cats. Ive never had a problem like thi before and I would hate to get rid of one leaving the other alone, but they are really stressing me out. On top oflosing sleep I am constantly saying "no!" "dont do that" "get down" all day, one can run out of patience quickly whn there is a lack of sleep involved. PLEASE HELP.

we took him to the vet and he sent us to go somewhere else for a specialist. we have an appointment for tomorrow. he is not very active and has only been like this for a few days. we are pretty sure that he hasn't eaten anything toxic. what could this mean...any ideas of what to expect...is this normal?

My 2 1/2 year old female cat does not like other animals. She acts antagonistic towards my mom's cat, hissing and growling, but never attacking. She has attacked my mom's (much larger, "agressive breed") dog, but he probably got in her face and egged her on--no one was around to see it. (My cat won, though!)

I am not home as often as I would like, and I want to get her a playmate. She has been acting sad and bored lately, and I think it is in part due to my absence. She is very affectionate and loving towards me, and I think she misses me when I'm gone. I was thinking about getting a young (8-12 weeks) kitten for us, as I have heard that they can cause just about any female cat's maternal instincts to kick in and lower or eliminate their aggression.

Has anyone ever tried to socialize a kitten with an anti-social cat? How has it worked? Any tips?

Thanks!

I am cycling my saltwater tank using a fishless method. My current parameters are as follows: Nitrate - 80ppm; Nitrite - 10ppm; kH - 300ppm; Ph - 7.8ppm & Ammonia - 0.25ppm.

I am wondering in an average how many days before my nitrate goes down.
