we took him to the vet and he sent us to go somewhere else for a specialist. we have an appointment for tomorrow. he is not very active and has only been like this for a few days. we are pretty sure that he hasn't eaten anything toxic. what could this mean...any ideas of what to expect...is this normal?

thank you Sam but he has already been checked for a heart murmur and the vet said that there was none thanks for the advice anyway!

I am no expert, but this could be a simple heart murmur. Many, many, many people have them, and they are generally not dangerous. Try to not worry too much. There is a chance of it being something more dangerous, of course, but you have done all that you can and the puppy definitely appreciates it in his puppy way. Just keep doing what you're doing, and don't worry!

Your best bet is to wait until your see the specialist. It could be anything. It may require surgery etc. Good luck

He may need a pacemaker or a heart surgery. They'll try their best because he's young.
