I am cycling my saltwater tank using a fishless method. My current parameters are as follows: Nitrate - 80ppm; Nitrite - 10ppm; kH - 300ppm; Ph - 7.8ppm & Ammonia - 0.25ppm.

I am wondering in an average how many days before my nitrate goes down.

At 80ppm you'll need to conduct water changes to lower nitrates. A deep sand bed, 1.5-2lbs of live rock per gallon with established anaerobic bacteria colonies and a high quality skimmer will help keep nitrates low (but it will probably help if you bring down nitrates to 10ppm or under first).

Fill your sump or refugium with macroalgae (like chaetomorpha, caulerpa, etc) since they export nitrate from the tank.

Using these methods can keep nitrates very low or even to undetectable leves. However, without employing any or all of these methods your nitrates will continue to accumulate.

I cycled my tank with 10 kilos of lifeless rock and 7 kilos of stay rock with aragonite sand and it relatively is doing fantastic and it cycled in 2 weeks with dr Tim's one and basically nitrifying micro organism. in basic terms set up the tank in a close-by with out direct sunlight or draft and wash your stay sand yet i did no longer do it so i do no longer think of it concerns it could get cloudy for somewhat in spite of the undeniable fact that it relatively is fantastic. Then rinse your stay rock In sparkling saltwater and placed it interior the tank and be sure their are no spots that the water gets caught in because of the fact it is going to lead you to many issues of nitrates. And placed saltwater interior the tank ideally water thats been by an Rodi unit. Then upload the nitrifying micro organism and a couple of week later attempt your water parameters and if each little thing's fantastic then you definately can upload the fish one or 2 at a time to cut back the bio load and provide it time to get used to the fish and you'd be fantastic.
