I would like to make sure I am making the right decision about doing this. I am sure someone can give me advice. I have done a lot of research, but I'm thinking the more people I hear from that have already done this would be all the better for me!! Thanks!!

Right now I live in a subdivision, but am buying rural home. There is a dog that roams the streets in this subdivision with no collar, much less tags! She is pregnant and since she scrounges for food, I assume she doesn't get any vet attention either! I would like to take her in with me when we move into our new home. Since she either has no owner, or her owner is neglectful, can I just do this? If not, what would I need to do to make sure I'm not "stealing" a stray dog?

Here is my question i have found this Yorkie puppy that is AKC reg. from craigslist.org for free the reason its free is cause it is from people that are in the military that got sent to over to africa they took the mom, dad and puppy with them but now can only keep the mom and dad,, How can i trust these people to send the puppy if i pay for the shipping? one more thing is there any way that i can pay for the ticket for the puppy my self that i way know for sure that im going to get the puppy? I dont know if any of you all are learey on things like this,, but it scares me to send money to someone that i dont know for a puppy that i dont know if i will even get,,, I hope someone can helps and please no sarcastic remarks

I have two Toy Yorkies, one named Tigger, and the other named Roo. They are notorious for peeing EVERYWHERE. Their vet told me that by being nuetered, they will smell less, be less possessive (Tigger does not like being touched by strangers) , and stop peeing so much. Roo has to be neutered because he is getting surgery down there anyway for other problems that could be cancerous. But for Tigger, I have always felt...guilt? by nuetering a dog? Tigger is a very energetic happy dog with so much personality, but I know a piece of that dissappears once they have been neutered. On the other hand, them peeing is a huge problem. They are already a year old. What are your thoughts?

I have a chance to adopt either an Umbrella Cockatoo or a Lesser Sulpher-Crested. I cannot afford or have the time to adopt both. Does anyone have any experience with either? Which is better, in your opinion, and why? Thanks!

my cat bites a lot... but i think it's just because he's always in a playful mood. he's still very young but i dont really consider him a kitten anymore. i just wanted to know why he bites a lot and if there are any games i could play with him to make him stop biting and scratching all the time.

Hi I wrote once before reguarding my 7 year old cat having a strange black pea size hard black bump underneth her chin, it comes and then goes away. People suggested it might be cat acne and to switch her dishes and only use stainless steel. I've done this and wheater it has a connection or not, it is again clearing up. BUT NOW I'VE NOTICED SOMETHING NEW NOW. Today I happened to look at her back front paw from behind (if this was a person it would be around the back foot above the heel part) and noticed a little smaller then a dime size black hard bump protrouding out, almost like the same thing as the chin thing on her front back arm part. It's not the part she walks on and it doesn't seem to be bothing her, but then I noticed another one of the same thing on the other front back paw? It almost resembles the black pad on a cats paw, but it just developed in this location. Has anybody ever heard of something like this? What is it? I will take her to the vet, but what is this?

I just adopted a four-year old siamese mix female, fixed cat. I know that siamese cats are known to be talkers, but this is getting ridiculous. She meows insistently all night long. Last night I only got about 3 hours sleep because of it. She has food, water, toys, a clean litter box and a comfy place to sleep. I took her to the vet to make sure it wasn't medical, and she has a clean bill of health. I've tried locking her in the bathroom (with everything I just talked about), but she meows so loud, my neighbors above me complain. I know it isn't that she wants to be with me, because I will bring her up on the bed and she'll jump down and instantly start meowing again. I don't know what she wants or how to teach her not to meow all night. I love her to death but I can't deal with this!!! Help!

She's not clawing at me when I do it, but she's not exactly enjoying -- she keeps moving forward; getting it done quickly and thoroughly isn't easy.

I think, too, we'Ve figured out that we get cat treats just for being cute, so that's not as much of an incentive as it could be.

Any tips?
