I have one female and I tried to put another female in the cage but she tries to hurt it! I waited to see if she would calm down, but it continued! Help! I don't want to have to return the bird to the petshop... this cage I have is 4X3X4, and I don't want to have just one bird! Any good ideas as to solve this problem?

Is it normal for a cat to look you in the eyes? I heard somewhere that animals don't. My cat always does! Is this what all cats do, is is my cat strange?

How do I keep my cat's littler from smelling up the house?
Long story short,
Cat cannot (of course) be sold because the family loves her, and I'm out all day so I can't clean the litter everytime she goes. How do I keep it from smelling up the house? A friend suggested mixing baking soda in with it before I left for work each day, but dosn't that sound like it will harm her? Any suggestions?

Ok, so about two months ago i was on a country road, not thinking that some animal/bird was going to run out at me and who would've believed that a peacock ran accross the road and i smack it. The police call me about it the other day asking questions, i need to know, did i do anything wrong? and if so how much am i looking at?

I live in a comunity where chickens run wild and are a protected species. There are 2 hens with about 9 chicks. They seem to flock together. Lately the baby chics will come in my yard, they get in between the pickets or under the fence. The hens will fly over the fence. The hens will dig up my plants and dig holes to feed their chicks bugs. Yesterday, I chased them out with a broom 4 times. They are ruining my plants. I am afraid of being attacked by the hens. I don't want to hurt them ( it is against the law here ). I called The Chicken Lady here and she wants $20 a head to capture them and put them in a safe place. She has a very long waiting list and I don't want to pay for all of the chickens to be captured, there are over 30 in the area. I just want to keep them out of my yard. If anyone has an IDEA, I would love to hear it. I love the chickens, but they are destroying my property.

I have a 4 yr old female cocker spainel. She is abs. sweet and loving but flipps out while being groomed. She has been to several places and there was one that she did "ok" with - recently she went crazy at this place and bit and snapped at the groomer and stopped breathing for a few seconds. Ever since this I have tried grooming her myself and its just not working. How can I get her to calm down to get groomed so she looks nice? Thanks

I've been doing research on my new American Pit Bull and have found that these dogs were 'bred' from other terriors basically for fighting. What are the original 'breeds' of dogs and are humans cross breeding just to create their idea of a great animal?

She's usually only in there for a few hours while we are away at work. My husband and I make sure to get home every few hours to check on her. One time she pooped and peed in her crate on her blanket. Aren't they not suppose to go where they sleep?

Help, I really want to eliminate the aroma of cat urine from the house. I've done some research on-line which seems to suggest that apart from removing the carpets & eliminating the cats (neither of which I can or will do) that there is not a lot I can do about the smell.

However, I've heard of Urine-Off - a product that contains an enzyme that helps to 'eat the smell' (or something like that) ... can anyone recommend something similar that is readily available in the UK?

Thanks

Her dog was 13 years old and we loved the dog too.
Plus.... her husband just died suddenly last week of a heart attack. The funeral was 4 days ago, and now the dog was put to sleep yesterday. My heart aches for her and her sorrow. I know how hard it must be for her and her 2 grown children. Any ideas of a gift? or 'spirit lifter'?
