I haven't had a kitten in awhile so I don't remember. He poops several times a day even though I feed him Science Diet. Everytime I clean the box he goes AGAIN!! When will he stop? (We've been to the vet and everything is fine. I feed him the amount recommended on the bag)

Every time I get up in the morning for Work I run out to my car only to find 4 or 5 piles of Cat Feces settled right next to my "Car door". This wouldn't be such a crisis if it didn't happen every SINGLE day. They are strays but I want a humane approach to settle this problem with out using animal control as I'm not a cruel individual. I've already tried cayenne pepper around the grounds and this seems to work but living in an area that rains a lot makes this a very big effort to continue. Please Help Me before the next Sun Rise!

In reply to my previous question the tank is at a constant temperatue of 25 degrees with the use of a daylight bulb and water heater. Both used on thermostats and timers.

If it is possible that she could be pregnant is there anything else to look out for?

AND......how do you prevent the plant from floating around the tank. I bought a plant and covered the root basket with rocks but my turtles like to dig so they dug it up and now it floats all over the tank and does not stay upright. Help!

I am a stay at home mom with a 17 m/o daughter. I am thinking of adopting a cat from our local animal shelter. It would not be a kitten it would be at least a year or two years of age. I will be going back to work soon, but when not at work our family are home bodies. The cat would get plenty of attention during the evening and whenever we are home. The cat is NOT a pet for my daughter it is for me she will know to respect the cat and treat him/her gently. I do not expect my daughter to help me take care of the cat or anything. I had cats growing up, but they were indooor/outdoor cats and came and went as they pleased. Our cat would be indoors only. Does anyone have experience with cats and toddlers, or adopting from a shelter? Our shelter has the pets wormed, defleaed, has rabies shots, spayed/neutered, microchipped and has other shots if old enough. It would only need a yearly vet visit then rt? Thanks to everyone.

We were told the sex cannot be determined and that the conditions in this country are not ideal for breeding. However recently one has started to dig in the pebbles in the water as if nesting. I have read that they come on to land to nest, could it be possible that she could be pregnant? If it is what other signs could we look for and is there anything in particular we need to do?

At home my dog is fairly good. But the second I take him for a walk and he sees other dogs he barks so uncontrolably and gets himself so upset. Sometimes he will even bark at people walking by. It is getting to the point where I might have to find another home for him. Does anyone know anything that I could do to stop my dog from being so vicious to other dogs? I know terriers are very hard to train and for the most part he is behaved. But its so hard to take him outside because I know whats going to happen. I dont ever want him to bite another dog. I want him to be able to play with other dogs. I dont know if hes just being protective against me or what. If anyone could give me some tips to do while hes outside near other dogs that would be great.

I read that a good rule of thumb is watts for every gallon? I have a 29gallon aquarium, so 29-58 watts of light? I find that a huge difference. I also find it especially difficult to find a light with this wattage to be the correct size for my tank. It seems the higher the wattage, the longer the light. But if I go any smaller in size, the wattage is reduced. I also read that 2 fluorescent lights may be used, but my hood will only house one light. My plants require low-medium light, and low-medium growth rate, ph of 6.0-8.0, so they're generally easy plants to look after. I am experienced keeping Angels, but I can't seem to keep a plant alive! I am trying! There are HUGE benefits with plants and my Angels are happier. Every article I read about lighting for plants contradicts another article I read. One article says that the K rating means nothing, and another article's author swears by using 5000-10000K lights. WHAT do I get? Help!
