I live in the states so I don't. However, I would recommend that you only go through a reputable breeder and visit their home! Pet shops can get parrots from all sorts of places, not always good. Look on the internet. Try Parrot Breeders.

Dont buy them from a pet shop go to a breeder. they are alot friendlier normally (the parrots and the people!) and you can see the back ground of the bird. You will also find that the pet shops while knowing roughly what is what, if they deal with lots of different species they might not know as much as you would like where as parrot breeders tend to deal with certain species.

Hiya i live in the uk so im no help in telling you if they sell dumbo rats near you but ... me and my fella recently bought 2 dumbo rats from a petshop/garden center so its not as if they cant sell them ? Why dont you look in your local phone book or check on the net for local shops ! i have to say the most popular rats are the fancy rats and also the pet shops in the uk actually buy the rats off breeders themselves ??? This could be different in your country im not sure but you could always ask the pet owners ! last idea is even if you have a local pet shop ask them because they can get them in stock or no somwere you could get them if they dont sell them good luck x

You definately shouldn't buy one from ANY pet store. This includes petsmart and petco. You should only go through a reputable breeder - one that supports ethical breeding & raising practices and not ripping these birds from the wild.

I don't know of any in Chorley. Maybe you should google the area or try Yellow Pages, etc.
