It really depends on her quality and background. If she's a promising animal from a good hunting or show bloodline, then she'd be worth quite a lot. If she's a pet quality dog from a long line of pet quality dogs, then she has very little monetary value.

Your best bet is to have her evaluated by a few GSP breeders, they should be able to tell you.

I would try $500. The ad should read German Short Hair Pointer. 15 months old. Has all shots. Excellent hunting potential, worked with alot and not gun shy. Would also make great family pet. You didn't say if she was AKC, if she's not, you will have to probably try around $200. People are going to wonder why you want to get rid of a dog this young. People into bird hunting with dogs will assume that she isn't that great and maybe gun shy even if she is not. They won't understand why you wouldn't just keep her as a pet and hunt when you can or breed her and make money off the puppies. Are you being truthful??????? Please be very honest to potential owners. If she isn't a good gun dog then maybe you should just look for a family for her and have her spayed. In that case, you should charge only $50 for shots. Good luck. This is a very nice breed. I would keep her if I were you. They make great companions . Working and Sporting dogs should have the opportunity to be your companion and playmate besides just doing work!

Perhaps you should be asking this question of GSHP breeders - the experts in this case.
