Hi, I notice that there have been a few questions on here about deaf dogs but all are resolved now. I have an adult deaf dog who is the best dog ever. I have had a great time training and living with him. I have a 12 week old deaf Australian Stumpy Tail Cattle Dog puppy at the moment looking for a good home. I have successfully placed other deaf puppies with wonderful, loving homes. My question is, does anybody know of anyone who would like a beautiful deaf puppy? He is registered, chipped, vaccinated and is a blue male with a gentle, affectionate nature. He is available to an approved home for the cost of transport only. Thanks. Sarah

You can post your pup on www.deafdogs.org. While it's not an adoption group, they do have a section for available dogs. You may also want to join the yahoo deaf dogs group and post his information there.

To anyone interested: I have a wonderful deaf dog. The only time he is frustrating is when I'm all settled in and he is barking, I have to get up to tell him to stop. It's kind of nice to be able to sneak in the house :) Don't let a dog being deaf deter you.

If I was looking for another dog it would be so tempting. . .

You don't say what area you're in, so transport costs may be a factor, but I have a contact for a deaf ACD rescue group in the mid-south U.S. If you need the contact info, e-mail me and I'll pass along to you.

I would, but I couldn't have a blue male in my small apartment with my aggressive cat. I love Australian cattle dogs, though, and I hope you find a good home for him!
