I really want to get our male dog fixed, but husband feels "offended" by this because the dog will lose his "manhood".

He believes that the puppies that result from a doggie affair are someone else problem (thus the reason we got a male dog).

PLEASE HELP!

I need some convincing arguements on the benefit of giving my dog the "Bob Barker" treatment.

My dog refuses to eat dry dog food. He is an eight month old Maltese. He will eat wet dog food and prefers table food, of course. But I think he needs the dry food too. Does it matter if he doesn't eat it?? I have bought EVERY brand out there and he refuses all of it.

Don't tell me to make him eat it by not feeding him anything else. I will not do that. I think that is cruel. It's like making a kid eat a veggie they hate. I just want to know if there is anything out there that actually tastes good to them and is healthy as well.

Im asking becuz theres a no-pets policy but I really want a dog and I would give him attention and wouldn't neglect him but theres a policy for no pets allowed. And I was wondering if he would bark when Im not there (school). Or do puppies sleep all day or is that cats?

I've had goldfish before but not for a few years. I bought 2 new goldfish half a week ago and they're in a suitable environment; but one has begun chasing the other and seems to be 'kissing' it. The behaviour isn't aggressive; and I'm assuming it's not breeding behaviour since the goldfish are still only very young and the one doing the chasing is not 'bumping' the other one as breeding behaviour describes it would.
Is this normal playful behaviour or is there another explanation? Thanks.

hello to all animal lovers ...i live in BC canada ..and winter time is approaching here ..i bought a couple of lab puppies this year. this is my first year with any kind of pet. i made really good insulated doghouse in my backyard. but still i m worrying about them in coming winter time. some of my family members dont want them to bring inside ...so please suggest me if i need to warm up their house with a heater...i m afraid coz its made up of wood and i m not sure if sudden change from cold to hot might make them sick or not ....(bcoz they can come outside their doghouse anytime in night...)
so please suggest !!!!

hello, lately my cat [male / neutered / overweight cat - if that helps you judgement] has been waking me up, not intentionally, because hes always near my bed and hes always throwing up - i dont believe this is the same as him throwing up his food because when he throws up his food it makes a distinct sound [disgusting, yes] and i can identify that, but lately hes been throwing up a whitish substance, that almost looks sticky; as it comes out of his mouth and drips to the floor you can see it's kinda stringy, and it he makes a different sound as hes throwing up - im not sure what to really do, anyone ever experience something like this or have any advice on how to treat this? - thankz

Is there any tangs out there that can fit into a 46 gallon tank? I know they need to be in a 75 gallon but is it possible for any to be ok in this kind of tank if we get them when they are super small?
