find an out in the country vet.they are usually cheaper than city vets and understand the importance of animals to people where your city vets seem to understand,,that people will pay a lot to have their animals seen.retired from the job and sad to say,,lots of vets are in it for the money.i use to do that procedure for 25.00(or some farm fresh eggs and milk)

HI MY CHIHUAHUA HAD HER FIRST LITTER IN JUNE 2006, SHE HAD 3 BOYS AND 1 GIRL, I WAS TOLD SHE WOULD NEED A C-SECTION, BUT I WAS VERY LUCKY SHE WELP ALL ON HER OWN, (I WAS WITH HER EVERY STEP OF THE WAY) MY VETS TOLD ME THAT IT WOULD COST £210, AN ULTRA SCAN WAS £50, WHICH SHE HAD, AND WAS NOT RIGHT SHE HAD AN EXTRA PUP, AND AN X RAY WOULD OF BEEN £60. I HAVE BEEN TOLD YOU CAN PAY UPTO £500. I THINK IT DEPENDS ON WHERE YOU LIVE, I AM IN SOUTH EAST KENT. HOPE THIS HELPS, YOU COULD ALWAYS RING YOUR VETS AND ENQUIRE! GOOD LUCK IF YOU ARE EXPECTING.

True, different doctors charge different amounts.
It could cost anywhere from $200 to $300. My vet charges by age and weight and if they are in heat or not. There's charges for anesthesia, the surgery, antibiotics afterwards....
Give your vet a call and they should be able to give you a pretty accurate estimate.

Cost goes partly on weight of dog. If you are on certain benefits you may get assistance from the National Canine Defence League. It is definately worth speying her as later in life an un-speyed dog can develop problems with the uterus.

Ask a couple of vets in your area would be the best answer, i would say a couple hundred pounds or more if there are any problems.

who knows. Different vets, different parts of the country will all charge differently.
Spaying your chihuahua will be cheaper and less traumatic to the poor thing.

it could vary from £70 to £150 depending where you live. if this is a possibility that she might need one you are totally irrisponsable for thinking about breeding from her. apart from anything else you have a chance of loosing her under the anasthetic. please concider carefully what you are doing !
